Zima Bar (Soho)

• Went there last Saturday with some friends
• Inside is pleasantly furnished with good taste and high quality supplies
• I was surprised how good the Lamb tongue was and especially the Beef stroganoff
• I didn't know what to expect since it was my first time eating at a Russian restaurant
• I found there was way too much "
• The bread itself was not very fresh and not very tasty
• The sturgeon and the fish platter had some good flavourful elements in them and overall nothing was unpleasant
• Nice and relaxed with really good Russian soft rock music infusing throughout
• A really nice feature is the pictures painted directly onto the walls
• The food is very authentic Russian with their own local twist added
• So the experience is like Russian tapas
• Aubergine caviar and Olivier salad for starters followed by pelmeni (beef and venison dumplings) and beef stroganoff the latter was the highlight of the night
• Zima is a new addition to the scene with their Russian street food and bar
• S home is a listed townhouse with a speakeasy style bar downstairs whilst the ground and upper floors offer a more restaurant feel with a cosy terrace at the top
