The York (Angel)

• This pub in the very heart of Angel is definitely my favourite
• WHat I especially like there is the outdoor tables facing the Vue Cinema and very close to lovely Camden Passage
• I am used to going there to have drinks with my friends afterwork
• I usually stop here after a busy day and have a good laugh with some friends
• The atmosphere is a fun one though
• Haven't had any of their food there yet but the drinks are of a reasonable price of around £
• Though the spirits are served in smaller glasses than warranted
• Rather a traditional pub with some pretty good tasting pale ales
• Space outside is nice to linger on
• I tried their nachos and thought they were pretty average
• The service is pretty good
• You order at the bar and they bring everything to your table and even when the place is really full you get your food pretty quickly
• The prices are quite reasonable and although the food isn't great
• Good quick meal with a variety of beers to choose from
• The waiter there was apologetic and very nice but nevertheless I disappointed by the long wait
• The ambience and outdoor seating area are actually good but food is not recommended based on my experience
• A lot of improvement can be done as The York (Angel) is usually packed
