Wok Wala (Ilford)

• The chana kebab was nice it was cut into pieces with onions and peppers an chickpeas
• Masala chips were nice as well and the lamb samosa was nice
• Chicken and tikka sauce and it was blend no salt in the food
• There were about 8 pieces of chicken in my large portion which I thought was a bit poor and the tikka sauce wasn't authentic indian which is a pity as the concept is really good
• The box were well designed but the food is a let down
• The concept is a really good yet complicated one
• Wok Wala (Ilford) is a real fusion place
• Really well presented in an old traditional Chinese take away box which is always nice to eat out of
• Their Bengal salad has to be best salad I have tasted
• Use Wok Wala (Ilford) for takeaway more than eat in but food is always warm
• To keep things interesting I have tried so many different combinations which is why it's a hit or miss but this is not the fault of the restaurant
• One downside for spice lovers and hence why it did not get a higher rating is when I do ask for extra extra hot
• Ribs were juicy and coated in a nice fusion of sauces and tempura prawns were light and crispy
• Sweet and sour combo was very nice not too sweet and not too sour
• Black bean sauce was not as saucy as it should be but still good
• Service was friendly and welcoming and Decor/size was small but good size for this takeaway/quick bite sort of dining
• Best if you order a takeaway however as there is very limited seating in the restaurant
