The days last all of 7 hours before night takes over again and even the most mild gust of wind is bitterly cold
-
Cutting through you as if you were transparent
-
It was almost a given that Nath was going to be serving a good meal
-
The meat literally struggled to hold onto the bone as I picked it up from the plate and if all food was as succulent
-
Opening up in such a competitive area is an aggressive move but one I think is detrimental to those around Inito than the restaurant itself
-
The dining room is relaxed and comfortable even with its open kitchen and makes for a very welcome relief from the chaos of Brick Lane
-
I have no qualms over the price of dishes with no individual item being more than £
-
My readers will know that Indian street food is my favourite food and so I couldn't wait to head to East London
-
The menu here is created by award winning chef Saurav Nath who has worked at two of my favourite Michelin star restaurants Benares and Colony
-
They serve up a range of made to order Rotis filled with freshly grilled meats
-
Fresh vegetables and tangy pickles and chutneys which are ideal for lunch as well as dinner
-
I also tried a well made masala dosa which arrived with the ideal accompanying chutney
-
Chef Saurav Nath had certainly delivered with his recipes for Inito
-
The pani puri was an interesting dish to try as it involved pouring the chutney into the puri using a laden and then eating it in one bite
-
I also tried the chicken roti with charcoal grilled chicken tikka and the paneer roti which was filled with tandoori roasted paneer with pickling spice
-
T a single dish on the menu is costs over £
-
Sharing plates are approximately £
-
4 for a large portion and the larger dishes such as the tandoori and curry bowls are about £
-
I was very impressed by Inito as it is a great find which I am sure I will be returning to repeatedly
-
Prices and the super friendly staff was exactly what I had been looking for from a small independent restaurant serving my favourite type of food
-
In additional Inito is a restaurant with a conscience
-
As all their produce is ethically sourced and they even have a zero percent wastage policy wherever possible
-
The Lamb samosas with chick peas were just awesome
-
The Murgh Makhni fabulous with tender chicken and a very smooth and flavour packed masala sauce
-
Especially the Bhatti murgh deserves special mention here think this is a cross between Tandoori Chicken and Amritsari roast chicken
-
Goes very well with Indian food
-
The roti's were nice and soft and were cut in triangular pieces before serving
-
The location is a bit eerie in the evening
-
The manager was superfriendly and seemed impressed by our appetites
-
Humble guy knows how good he is and loves a quick chat about India
-
Heading out for an Indian on a Friday night is a strong tradition where I come from
-
Exploring the exotic food realm that is Indian cuisine (as Atul Kochhar said on Saturday Kitchen &lsquo
-
Salad bowls with your choice of toppings and our unforgettable &lsquo
-
All of the produce is ethically sourced and British wherever possible plus the coffee is fair trade
-
We began our meal with an Indian classic
-
Then served with a beautiful green sauce
-
These roti rolls are ideal for a cheeky lunch time treat
-
The pan puri are crisp pastry balls with a potato and chickpea filling
-
The pan puri are amazing little things and I would definitely recommend them
-
The Thums Up is a real star
-
These dishes were incredibly authentic and the flavours truly wonderful to eat from the spicy hot lollipop chicken wings with spicy tomato sauce
-
Lollipop wings were really tasty and the portion sizes were great
-
The fish option is based on the fish of the day purchased from Billingsgate Market
-
Each of these meat plates is served with a vibrant green mint sauce and a shredded onion salad which helps to balance the spicing within the meat
-
We finished our meal with a range of more classic Indian dishes
-
My favourite of which was the Rustic Lamb Nihari
-
This biriyani was simple stunning
-
It is cooked with a naan on the top of the dish to keep the lamb shank meat beautifully soft and fragrant
-
This was served with crisp chappatis which we also used for our aloo matter which is potato and green peas sauté
-
Liquid esque texture with a great bend of spices
-
Notes of cumin and chilli were dominant but well balanced
-
These were served with cut naan breads which helped us scoop up all the delicious lentil mixture
-
The sauce of yogurt and tomatoes was really creamy and buttery
-
Yet quite light with gentle spicing
-
The chicken was wonderfully soft and literally fell apart in the mouth
-
This dish is perfect for those diners who are a little scared of spice
-
Be prepared for the very best in Indian urban street food served up by passionate chefs day and night
-
Travel to the busy streets of India with all the hustle and bustle of the colourful street markets
-
While we waited for all our friends to arrive we were served some thick and delicious lassi
-
I almost thought I was stuck in the dhabba scene from Rang de Basanti for a minute there (which reminds me I must add a road trip to the North of India to my bucket list &ndash
-
) As expected the Mango lassi was most popular choice
-
We were then served Chicken Lollipop with a mini masala dosa
-
Chicken lollipop is another very popular &lsquo
-
On the menu in India and is very popular even as a starter for parties
-
Inito served the dosa with some delicious coriander and mint chutney
-
The pani puri was ok and much better than what I have tried elsewhere in London but amongst everything we sampled that evening I would put this at the bottom of my list
-
This has nothing do with the what they served per se but more to do with what type of pani puri I am accustomed to having back in Mumbai
-
Then came a huge platter with various roti rolls &ndash
-
Basically loads of meat or veggies with some fresh veggies and chutney stuffed inside
-
The meat was cooked tender and it was what I would expect in terms of taste
-
Reminded me of Tibbs Frankie ummm The prawn roti roll was my least favourite &ndash
-
We were given a selection of different dips and chutneys to go with these roti rolls
-
My favourite was a chewy aubergine chutney
-
No wonder then the Chef Saurav Nath is an award winner &ndash
-
He has managed to retain the authenticity of most of the dishes while coming up with clever fusion dishes like the pau slider and roti rolls
-
While all of us went into a frenzy clicking pictures and capturing the moment when the lid was lifted off the biryani
-
The air filled with the unmistakable biryani fragrance of basmati rice
-
The curries were delicious and I am biased in favour of the lamb
-
By this point I was ready to explode and so were the others
-
No Indian meal is complete without some freshly made pipping hot gulab jamun and ice cream and even with full tummies
-
I was quite delighted to hear that the ice cream was Horlicks flavoured &ndash
-
Horlicks and Bournvita were my favourites while growing up and made drinking hot glasses of milk bearable
-
The mini Gulab Jamuns were irresistible little bite sized ones in sugar syrup
-
The rasmalai was fabulous too (as confirmed by my friends) with the right consistency and topped with pistachios and cardamom floating in a sweet thickened milk
-
The minimalist decor goes well with the street food theme and the bright wall art will have you clicking away to share pictures on Instagram &ndash
-
I have been here twice and was pleasantly surprised at the consistency and quality and almost felt I was back in delhi
-
Its as good as dishoom without any of the queues if only the atmosphere was slightly better
-
Inito (Spitalfields) was busy with locals and some city folks
-
Not quite but the overall experience was well worth my money
-
The restaurant is decent size and long benches for tables (wagamama style)
-
Trendy and quirky with random signage on the wall and odd props around the place
-
I read that the menu is created by chef Saurav Nath
-
So let me first say that Inito is best visited with a group of friends say at least 4
-
Aloo Papri chaat was well flavoured
-
The chicken shop was very very very spicy
-
In fact i found it a bit too spicy and was unable to eat most of it
-
4.95) deep fried chicken wings served with mint sauce
-
The fact that they were deep fired did bring out a nice taste
-
You all know i really like lamb chops and when i saw lamb chops and i knew that was it instant order
-
If you over cook lamb you lose the natural juiciness of the meat and this is what happened
-
I think they were cooked to medium to well done
-
They were thick but the edges were OVERCOCKED
-
T want to get another one as i saw that it was pre made bottle so they gave me my money back without any fuss
-
S no bill at the end you order your food and pay for it at the counter at beginning of your meal which is something that i like especially if you go with a large group
-
When I heard that there was a newly opened restaurant in the area serving Indian street food I really couldnt wait to try out the delicious chats and the roti rolls
-
I just stayed at the place while my roll was being prepared
-
I was quite impressed with the quirky interior
-
It had a feel of a old style dhabas which is a rare sight in this area
-
Inito doesnt disappoint and is such good value for money
-
I would definitely like to visit Inito (Spitalfields) again with some friends to really make the most of the offerings on Inito's menu
-
Michelin experienced chef Saurav Nath is at the helm
-
Their focus is on made to order or build it yourself Rotis (a flatbread that forms a key staple in Indian cuisine) generously stuffed with freshly grilled meats
-
Inito (Spitalfields) is great and serves one of the best indian food in london
-
Lamb Biriyani and baingan mirch ka salan are a must try dishes at Inito (Spitalfields)
-
Flit between streets lined with flats you can&rsquo
-
Vegetarian for the navratras hence the Behl puri/ samosa chaat are unbelievable to eat in London
-
The atmosphere is also really good
-
Starter I ordered Aloo papri chaat it's a delicious room temp starter with a colourful array of fresh herbs and spices that wake up the taste buds
-
Hubby and I are not even chickpea fans but this dish changed our minds There's a nice non intrusive crunch to this dish too
-
This is by far the best Indian restaurant I have dined at in London
-
Like every other Indian boy I have searched for a palate that matches my taste buds and I can finally say with confidence that I have found the place
-
The staff members are very approachable and helpful and always greet you with a smile
-
The daal makhani was served in a very unique manner and was really tasty as well
-
The naan's were extremely well made
-
We had kulfi for desert and the rose kulfi was like the icing on the cake for a wonderful meal
-
Gravy of which is quite tasty
-
Cottage cheese pieces were fewer than expected
-
Only issue i found here is in the "
-
Curries here are the best part of Inito (Spitalfields) and I will recommend try curries here and you will be amazed by the quality
-
Overall a Very Good place with Reasonable Price
-
Inito (Spitalfields) is savior for people like me
-
Biryani Feast is just incredible
-
Black Daal is of mediocre taste but that's the only thorn in the flesh
-
Their curries are incredibly tasty
-
Mr Behrooz is amazing person
-
Tried old Delhi chicken tikka with kahlu dal and tasted good and nice flavours with no colours etc
-
A restaurant with little walking distance from the business hub offers a reasonable sitting area and takeaway menu
-
Samosa is one of the best I have had in London
-
Good place for decent Indian food and the best part is it is a 2 minute walk from my office
-
Samosa that they serve is pretty decent and so are the other dishes
-
I wouldn't say Inito (Spitalfields) is to die for but a decent place worth a visit
-
The prices are reasonable
-
The puris in the Pani Puri were a bit hard and the puris were not that well stuffed with potatoes
-
Inito (Spitalfields) is closed now permanently at both locations
-
Bell lane and the new location on commercial road is closed as well
