Williams Ale and Cider House (City of London)

• Cider House (keeping up with the beer revolution) down the road from The Mayor of Scaredy Cat Town on Artillery Lane
• So we popped in with beer afficionado Sam to check out their 14 hand pulls and 7 taps
• We started with the wonderful Five Points Pale before moving on to ales from ELB
• Williams Ale and Cider House is another top pub with great beer in London
• Williams Ale and Cider House (City of London) is an absolute hidden gem right by Spitalfields
• This is a cosy pub with a huge amount of ales &
• Rustically decorated with a few quirky touches like a blue piano &
• My personal highlight is the great selection of board games they have on offer always a winner in my book
• The williams is nice and tucked away just along from the breakfast club
• The food here is so good with a wide selection for all tastes
• The atmosphere is relaxed and cosy with some nice background music
• Definitely the best scotch eggs I&rsquo
• The falafel and if are feeling really hungry (honestly
• Really hungry) go for the Sausage and mash with onion gravy
• All food is homemade by the Chef and it is absolutely delicious
• They also offer group menus and sharing platters that are great to have a taste on almost all the food menu
• Instead very polite football fans mix with cider lovers and the odd tourists
• So you can really get to grips with the wide range of choice if it is your bag
• The top end of good pub food with all the staple dishes such as pies
• We went in for a quick glass of wine and were glad to discover this as option for city drinking without the crazy crowding
• It also presents a comfortable place to watch the games while I stuff my face with what looked like amazing food
