Watan (Southall)

• At watan it is overrated and overpriced
• The service was not the best
• Loved how the food was all hot and warm the noodles were a bit too dry and needed more veggies but all in all food was good
• The customer service was great overall i throughly enjoyed it i would be visiting again soon
• We had Dinner at Watan restaurant 18/11/2014 extremely disappointed with portions they provided and the amount they charged for that
• Mix Grill ordered rice were awful veg in there was uncooked rice was microwaved
• Kabuli Pilau was like biryani
• The Seekh Kebab Karahi was something different in taste but I'd prefer Seekh Kebabs instead
• Behari Kebab was quite alright
• Charsi Chicken Kebab tasted nice but I was too full to have more than a piece
• The daal was quite try but tasted better with the chutney
• I did not try the Maghaz Masala but was told it was really good
• We also had the Keema Naan which was very tasty but I do not recommend you to take it home and have it the next day
• Tadka daal was nothing special
• Spicy when we were expecting mild
• The restaurant is small therefore becomes very busy so be prepared to queue
• The best thing about Watan (Southall) is its authentic decor
• I was a little surprised to find that the prices had slightly increased from what is listed this site when it came to placing our order
• Whole grilled chicken with 3 afghani naans
• Maybe it was because the naans were absolutely huge in comparison
• The chicken tikka masala was a little too spicy
• The whole grilled chicken was average but I quite enjoyed the lamb afghani as the lamb was moist and tender
• It wins the best dish of the evening
• The service is impacted but the staff are friendly and helpful
• Agressive men who intimidate women is the theme at this restaurant
• The manager at Watan was disgustingly rude while taking an order from myself and my family
• He was impatient and used a terrible tone with my mother who was 40 years his senior
• He then said if i wasnt with my family he would have thrown me out himself
• His tone and body language was intimidating and horrible
• Watan (Southall) is a kind of heaven for hard core non vegetarians
• We have tried it once and as our diet is limited up to chicken n eggs we could not enjoy Watan (Southall) fully but if you love try out some lamb dishes you must visit Watan (Southall)
• Their customer service skills is close to zero and they have gone down in both their quality of food and service since my visit last year
• I am travelling from Dubai and have had the chance to have lunch with my family (my wife and two sons)
• The behaviour of their serving staff members and/or attendants is extremely rude
• Demonstrate the same with their body language
• Their staff even spoke very rudely with my wife as well
• If they learn how to behave with their customers
• Went there last night with twelve other family and friends
• Please bear in mind that prices have gone up by 25% since menu was put on this website
• Waiter suggested to order more food than we did but he was not to know that we are not very big eaters with big bellies (no offence)
• More than quarter of food was packed and brought home
• We ordered kebab portion and lamb chops was tasteless and cold
• We ordered charsi chicken was cold and full of tomatoes
