The Vanbrugh (Greenwich)

• The selection of beers on offer was wide and impressive
• The Vanbrugh plays host to one of the best pub quizzes in the southeast area
• There's a heated marquee with ample seating and comfortable sofas by the bar
• Perfect for drinks with friends and a bit of fun to ease you into the start of the working week
• Tucked away in a residential area on a quiet street away from the main road is The Vanbrugh
• I also think that most of them are regulars to The Vanbrugh
• Do make a reservation if you want to dine in here because they can be full and there are no other places like The Vanburgh in the area
• Prices certainly are very reasonable
• The style of food is a combination of classic pub food with a modern style
• It can be slightly noisy with the open kitchen and the background music
• Service was very friendly and polite although I have a feeling that they were quite under staffed that evening
• The kitchen staffs were very accommodating to people with food allergies
• The Vanbrugh is a cosy pub
• The only downside of it is The Vanburgh is not easily accessible by public transport
• Probably that is why there is a sign above the entrance door (and on their website) says
• Greenwich's best kept secret&rdquo
• Skin was very crispy but the meat was still slightly pink
• Clarkshaw's Phoenix Rising battered haddock fillet with triple cooked chips
• The chips are large and crisp but I did not like the fact that the tartar sauce (which was very good) was
• Smeared onto the plate with the chips on top
• Sticky toffee pudding with vanilla ice cream £
• Chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream £
• Lemon tart with raspberry sorbet £
• So I went to The Vanbrugh (Greenwich) with a friend and I absolutely loves the decor of the ambience
