  • It definitely has a processed feel about it which is slightly out of kilter with the kind of restaurants you typically get in this area

  • What is lacking elsewhere is made up for by the absurd range of milkshakes they have on offer

  • I think the majority of people who come here are after he milkshakes only and I think they are doing the right thing

  • Tinseltown is an over rated chain of restaurants based on American diner menus and decor

  • I guess the one positive is the variety of dessert options that they have

  • If you want to go to a Tinseltown try another one as this one is quite a dump and just makes you feel grimy

  • Many will be acquainted with the page long list of after meal shakes and desserts

  • Waitresses always serve with a smile and this is a good place to hang out with some friends

  • My main fear was that it would turn out as sleazy as people had made it out to have been

  • It was clean and the food was pretty good too I struggled to pick my Chicken Burger with Bacon (which was actually beef

  • Everything in Tinseltown is halal) from the wide selection of food available

  • Is the price to pay for something that is pretty unique for being both halal and accessible

  • More for the need to reconcile being relatively social with being relatively religious

  • That's something I (and others in the same situation) dealt with before the likes of Tinseltown existed

  • Nice food but the design of the place was a tad tacky

  • Had a great time with friends and the fact that it was halal was great

  • I wouldn't take my kids as there were some dodgy look mofo's hanging around

  • My first impression of the restaurant itself was that it was quite tacky

  • The tables and chairs were quite close together

  • It almost felt as if you were sitting on one big table rather than separately

  • Their selling point personally are their milkshakes which are really quite yummy

  • I have to admit that if this was the first time id visited Tinseltown the look and feel of the place itself would have been enough to put me off coming again

  • One of the few place I know where you can order cheesy chips and end up with chippy cheese

  • On this particular day it was busy but as soon as we got seats and ordered the food

  • I loved that is was halal as at the time there weren't many halal diners like this around (now there's loads

  • The restaurant has kept up with its standards since then even now on my most recent visit I was very pleased with my experience

  • Their milkshakes and desserts are however definitely worth trying

  • Tinseltown is a famous american dinner

  • Hey look at us we are the spot because celebrities have been here"

  • When I go here I usually have milkshakes and waffles that have fruit and cream which are quite nice and I also get the chocolate waffle

  • Overall Tinseltown (Farringdon) is a good place for a decent american dinner

  • One of my friend was starving at midnight and I actually did not feel like cooking

  • We treated ourselves with some sweets and cheesy fries

  • An American esque restaurant which is open til the early hours

  • Saying that it was the closest thing we had to an American diner

  • The atmosphere was loud and the staff were keen to make our visit a happy one

  • The atmosphere was better than the food

  • An average restaurant with a great interior and even greater milkshakes

  • Whatever you order you'll not be dissapoinyed with the portions

  • Don't bother with starters you'll just leave yourself unable to finish the mains

  • I had the mega burger and despite my best efforts I was unable to finish it all

  • This of course sent no desert and I honestly couldn't go for a drink either as there was literally no room for anything else

  • Located just off Oxford Street Tinsel town is really convenient for a late night snack

  • Their milkshakes are really delicious and there are lots of different flavours to choose from including Twix

  • After a long day I went to tinseltown with a few mates to unwind and enjoyed a warm meal

  • The atmosphere was lively and people seem to be very jolly

  • I ordered a burger with chips which was standard

  • The highlight of the evening was definitely the milkshakes we all ordered

  • I had the Oreo milkshake which was really worth the wait

  • Overall the prices was fair and the atmosphere was good

  • Directed to my table and then i was left alone for quite a long time and when i called server to take my order he was horribly rude and impatient

  • Had a burger that was nice and juicy

  • Only downside I would have to say is the decor of the restaurant could be a bit better seems dated

  • I though it was fairly good

  • I ordered a lunch take away at Tinseltown (Farringdon) as it is near my flat and I needed an hangover burger cure

  • Chips/kebab place around Camden or Old street but the one from Tinseltown were worse than that as they taste like if you warmed fish&

  • I order the Nutella and banana waffles with cookie n creams milkshake

  • You can have your waffles with either ice cream or whip cream

  • To be honest in afraid I have diabetes or cavities now ahaha cause there was too much Nutella

  • Buzzing about and the desserts are just amazing

  • Tinseltown is one of the all time favourites in london

  • It has delicious and palatable food and it is open till 4 am

  • The shakes are great especially "

  • This is one if the best places for shakes

  • Ambassador shakes are the ones I have tried and I have loved them

  • The ambience is pretty comfortable

  • I went there with my friend because we needed some serious sugar lifting but I was so so so disappointed

  • It promised us delicious layers of thick chocolate sauce with premium vanilla icecream and cream on top

  • Except there was barely any chocolate sauce on it

  • The ice cream tasted meh and there was nothing special about the sundae

  • Maybe some ferrero mixed with the icecream or more chocolate sauce just anything to spice up the sundae but nada

  • Everything they serve is delicious and serve huge quantity

  • Shakes and desserts are nice as well

  • My favourites are the creamy cajun zilla

  • They make some of the best milkshakes around

  • I got the beef burger with an extra patty which arrived at a decent size

  • I wouldn't rank it in some of the top burgers I've had as it was slightly chewy

  • Their burgers and shakes are really yum

  • Also the ambience is pretty nice

  • Really loved there double patty burgers with extra cheese

  • Chicken waffles are served in gigantic portions
