Thai Room (Bow)

• Could do better is my most basic review of Thai Room (Bow)
• Portions weren't as large as I expected but they were very tasty
• We had prawn toast to start with sweet chilli sauce the sweet chilli sauce was just a sweet syrup with no taste of spice at all
• We asked for chilli and we got a small dish of chilli powder with oil poured on half of it and half mixed in
• We had Tom yum soup each which was good but I have had better
• We had butterfly prawns grilled in a tamarind sauce with cashews and dried garlic crispy bits in top
• The tamarind sauce could have done with a bit more complexity it was really just a sweet
• Our other main course was a Thai green curry again nice but not the best I've had
• She forgot to ask us if we wanted any rice with our curry so when we ordered
• Staff did not notice when we were looking for someone's attention on many occasions including to ask for dessert menus and the bill
• Nobody replied as they were too busy talking to each other at the front counter
• I would probably order takeaway from here at best because it is nearby but it would not be my first choice for a meal out
