  • The place has a great vibe with super friendly staff and three areas

  • The fish board was perfect to share and I rate highly over the meat board which was a little bland and dry

  • Will start by saying I have never eaten here so his review is prey on the bar side

  • Tanner and Co is a bar I walk past every morning and see there funny sign out the front and have a little smirk to myself over it

  • The bar is huge with a great outdoor area and a few ping pong tables out the back

  • The drink is reasonably priced and the bar is both modern and appealing

  • The bar has got an amazing outside area with nice decor that's beautifully lit up in the evening

  • The service is the star here

  • Co is a great addition on what is fast becoming a go to foody street

  • We only eat whatever food is known in the country which we&rsquo

  • T big at all the everything on the plate was edible but not anything exciting

  • The beans were like they were from a can

  • The mushrooms were too salty but the eggs were pretty good

  • To be totally honest I'm not really sure where to start with this review

  • Co on Bermondsey Street a couple of weeks ago with Bron as I was invited there to check it out

  • Bron arrived about 15 minutes before I did (I was running late) and was shown to the table

  • When I did arrive we were talked through the menu and ordered a cocktail each

  • 20 a bottle I think their cocktail pricing is a little steep

  • Saturday night was a long overdue date night for Tom &

  • The 100 seater restaurant sits on the site which formerly housed Delfina and is decked out like an old school gymnasium

  • The decor is wooden with draped ropes and they're playing some cool tunes creating the ideal afterwork vibe for city workers

  • A little known area where there are actually a lot of decent bars and restaurants

  • The prestigious WSET school is in the area too

  • Main course was a burger and pie

  • One of the best Bourbons I have tasted too

  • In all honesty we only ended up here because everywhere else was busy and Tanner &

  • Co benefits from being pretty roomy with ample seating

  • We managed to get a table for four without any trouble at peak brunch time which was pretty ideal

  • We went to the restaurant at about 12.30 so it was busy but not super busy

  • There was no waiting and we were attended to immediately

  • We were settled at our tables with the menu cards and the little one was given some pencils and drawing paper which kept her occupied through lunch

  • We ordered fishcakes with avocado mayonnaise and tomato salsa

  • Cauliflower cheeseburger with pickled red cabbage and chips

  • Buttermilk chicken and waffle with maple syrup and slaw

  • The fishcakes which I ordered were really good

  • The portion size was perfect for me and I savoured every bite

  • The cauliflower burger was a good vegetarian

  • The buttermilk chicken and waffle was okay not great so was a bit disappointing

  • The service was quite slow though the food took quite long to arrive and so did our bill

  • What we really liked was the ambiance and the friendly staff
