Tagine (Balham)

• I came here last year with a group of friends for a birthday celebration and we pretty much had the restaurant to ourselves as it was empty
• Empty for a Sunday evening is a bit unusual however
• The interior makes up a beautiful Moroccan themed restaurant with its traditional furniture
• Since the restaurant was quite empty
• The staff did their best to ensure everything was fine
• Tagine (Balham) is walking distance from Balham Station
• What made me want to go there is that I wanted to try something different
• The deco is rustic with mid eastern touches throughout
• The service is a bit slow though so dont schedule any immediate appointments
• These were some of the best tagines I've ever had
• Most main dishes were 12 15 pounds each and the serving size was very generous
• I love the interior with the low tables and chairs
• Even better was the fact that you get 20% off the price of your meal most days if you dine before 7pm
