  • He cheerily pointed out that since most of the dishes are meat based

  • T have been the best place in the world for him to try

  • Though there are vegetarian options for both suvlaki and skewers made with Mastelo cheese from Chios and some rather delicious sounding snacks to eat with Ouzo

  • The pitta bread was just like Pitta Pan

  • The tzatziki was lacking depth

  • The tomatoes are a let down

  • Suvlaki and rock'n'roll' is definitely bringing some tongue in cheek Greek spirit back

  • Chicken and sausage as lamb is not a suvlaki meat

  • No real Greek meal is complete without sides on the table so definitely get the chips

  • The aroma and flavour of it is beyond belief

  • Because there are a lot of problems moving the original taste abroad so when I heard there's a place called Suvlaki and the menu has been done by a famous awarded chef

  • Most of the dishes were very close to what you can find in Greece as the ingredients were top quality and that was reflected in the price

  • I got disapointed though with the way I got served aka the looks of my plate and with the quantity

  • My suggestion is take 6 skewers and skip the wraps

  • The oregano salt was a great idea and gave the chips a nice welcome extra

  • Suvlaki is a titchy site with few covers and a compact but fabulous Greek menu

  • The baked feta is warm and soft

  • Skewers and wraps good and the burger is a mixture of meats and dunked in tzatziki is heavenly

  • 2016 for me is quickly becoming the year of the souvlaki

  • So when I heard ofa place in Soho which was doing them

  • Being that it was called Suvlaki

  • Suvlaki aims to bring the very best of Greek cuisine to London by applying traditional techniques to the quality ingredients

  • I came with expectations which were inevitable when you take into account the name behind the brand and my preceding souvlaki experiences

  • The end product was fine but was it any better than the street food ones

  • Inevitably you will pay a premium for the location (and the luxury of a seat if you choose to dine in) but with the advantage of being in a permanent location

  • Maybe my expectations were just too unfairly high or maybe I've just missed the point all together and I should really be coming here for the dine in menu

  • Good while you are on the go as no reservation is required

  • I went to Suvlaki on a friday dinner and it was a good experience

  • I need to say that im not the most enthusiativ with greek cuisine but my friends are and we went there

  • Really delicious mezzes and the suvlakis are pretty good too

  • One annoying thing is that you have to pay £

  • 3 extra for a whole pitta with your souvlaki (rather than a half)

  • Those I tried was good taste as well real Greek food but too smaller than original ones in Greece

  • Mytos beer is the most delicious beer I&rsquo

  • Pita which is additional price (3£

  • ) a bit weird because Greek and Turkish people eat it with those delicious mezzes and actually should be free like Greek restaurant in Greece
