The Sun (Clapham)

• One of the best pubs in Clapham
• In Old Town is a great place for a thirsty Thursday or a sedentary Saturday
• The prices are pretty standard for London (which always feel a little too high)
• I went to The Sun( the restuarant) with one of my mates who's a bit of a regular there
• It was after a game of footy and we were absolutely starving
• We skipped starters and got straight onto the mains with a Chorizo burger and fries which really did the trick
• The burger came with all the fillings I expected and added real flavour to the pork
• I then went for the raspberry and peach crumble with Apple sorbet
• The atmosphere was nice but I think more appropriate for bigger groups
• If you're only 2 it feels a bit like you are taking up more space than you should
• The staff is quite friendly and will help you carry some of your glasses if you're buying a Roy d and can't carry everything because the upstairs bar is not always open
• Otherwise wait till the weather is better so you can go sit outside
