The Stable (Whitechapel)

• Unfortunately my own order of the asian salad and garlic bread was not as good
• The garlic bread on a pizza base was quite bland
• Even the melted cheese was surprisingly tasteless
• Asparagus and Pea salad was way too sweet
• Having been dressed primarily with commercial sweet chilli sauce
• Also the roasted peanuts from the menu had been replaced with unroasted sunflower seeds
• Next time I will order a pizza with more vibrant toppings
• The Stable is a new chain across the UK that takes pride in &ldquo

• Coinciding with the opening of the excellent Eduardo Paolozzi exhibition at Whitechapel Gallery
• As tucked away on the High Street behind a bus stop and bike lane is The Stable
• S a cute joint with high ceilings and exposed brick work
• A rustic and wholesome vibe is the setting here and this extends to the food
• The welcome is chilled but on the ball
• The drinks list is simple and whilst populated with cider
• Sounds like you are talking about a wine list
• Any cider connoisseur will tell you the difference is noticeable
• You may think the food has its work cut out for it with such a strong drinks offer
• Pizza and Pies are what is up for grabs here
• We started with a taste of five ciders as it would have been rude not to
• I think it is a brilliant idea for those who have not tried Cider or are not convinced it&rsquo
• There is a whole other area at the back where there is an open kitchen
