I was recommended this restaurant by a Thai friend and was pleasantly surprised with this small restaurant hidden near tottenham court
-
Papaya salad and pineapple fried rice served in pineapple are my favourite and a must try
-
The menu here is very reasonably priced
-
You would almost become suspicious of what you are going to be served
-
I would admit that I was surprised on the upside here by the quality of food
-
The red chicken curry was worth trying again
-
Lastly for desserts I tried mango sorbet which again was very satisfying
-
From the outside the place is rather nondescript
-
The seating capacity is rather small and the tables are laid out very close to one another
-
The downstairs sitting is a complete no no
-
The prawn and chicken dumplings and papaya salad was really nice
-
Equally delectable was the Thai Green chicken curry and Chicken Pad Thai
-
The pineapple fried rice was very well presented (I think that's true for almost all of the items)
-
As a bonus all the items are reasonably priced
-
I have verbal confirmation that the Chicken and Beef are Halal so thats a win
-
Its Idea for lunch and catch up with a small group of friends
-
Siam Central was happy to surprise me upon my visit
-
The inside is luxuriously decorated with rich
-
Dark woods and though our seat by the door braced us regularly with winter chills
-
My dining partner starts off with a prawn and chicken toast
-
Looked quite impressive with their thorough coating of sesame seeds
-
Because the dish is quite a success
-
The curries and noodles i tried with my boyfriend totally yummy
-
A colleague and I are self proclaimed Pad Thai connoisseur and so far have eaten Pad Thai every day for the past 5 weeks
-
We have tried a good few Pad Thais in the city and our favourite is a cheap little Chinese takeaway in Fulham
-
It just didn't have the spices we are used to and even the starters felt a little bland
-
Siam Central is a small and cosy Thai restaurant on the restaurant filled Charlotte Street
-
I'd have to say for this price they were more than worth it
-
Very generous portion with what seemed to be fresh vegetables
-
The restaurant is located on a corner of Charlotte Street
-
Starters I would recommend the glazed pork ribs (full of meat) as well as the prawn satay (5 pieces which is a bit awkward to order if you&rsquo
-
The drunken rice is very spicy (yes
-
The PadThai is made to perfection
-
Whether you have it with chicken or prawn (would recommend the chicken though)
-
The main dishes portions are quite large
-
Or try the house white wine which goes well with the rice or noodles
-
Again the price for wine is surprisingly low and you become even more surprised when you taste how good it is (very light)
-
Avoiding gluten is made relatively easy in this restaurant as the staff is very accommodating and they can prepare the dishes without any soy sauce
-
Siam Central makes some of the best pad thai in London
-
Other dishes to try are the spring rolls
-
The setting is just okay and as is the decor
-
The staff however are very friendly and helpful
-
Siam Central is a casual Asian fusion restaurant close to Tottenham Court Road
-
The restaurant is not too big and the decor is quite simple
-
The staff is friendly and the food is brought to you rather quickly
-
Siam Central is a good place to go for a casual dinner with a group of friends to enjoy some good food for a good price
-
The musssaman curry was delicious according to the person sitting across the table
-
I ordered the drunken noodles along with fried tofu
-
The staff was also very friendly and the service was up to the mark all the time
-
The food here is excellent and one is doubtful of finding any complaints
-
The dishes are extremely tasty and possess great flavors
-
They were full of flavors and the portions were also filling
-
I came across this restaurant accidentally and decided to give it a try as the food was marked at very attractive prices
-
I would have become a regular at Siam Central (Fitzrovia) if it was closer to where I live
-
The service is extremely poor
-
Even though there were empty tables at the restaurant at that time
-
His behavior was uncalled for and extremely rude
-
The basement with no windows is slightly claustrophobic due to the backed crowd there
-
I compliment them on their efficiency in dealing with a large group like us (we were 18)
-
The food tasted great and was served fresh and hot
-
The pricing for the same was also light on the pocket
-
The service was also quick
-
Siam Central (Fitzrovia) is my IT place to eat in the neighborhood
-
The atmosphere is brilliant and impressive
-
The dishes are also reasonable priced for London
-
Ice tea a basic and most difficult to strike a balance was a real delighting a surprise
-
The coconut crepe dessert is a must try
-
The service too is good and very prompt
-
The service is always pretty fast and up to the mark
-
The ambiance is a bit cramped up
-
The food here is absolutely delicious and very appetizing
-
The place also offers great value for money and is not heavy on the pocket
-
I have live nearby only and still it took me weeks to check out Siam Central (Fitzrovia) and the only reason behind this is that Siam Central (Fitzrovia) is always packed
-
I got a table here and I was so amazed by the service staff there
-
I had Chicken satay and it was so amazing
-
My partner had Mussaman Chicken curry and she was very delighted
-
The main course is as good as the starters are and is very affordable too
-
The soups here are amazing and a regular in my order
-
The ambiance of the place is nothing to stay
-
Siam Central (Fitzrovia) is located in an area which has a plethora of establishments just waiting to delight your tongue
-
Their menu is very extensive and varied
-
The tamarind duck is specially good
-
All the dishes are full of unique flavours and very innovative
-
The best bit is the generous filling in this rice
-
Siam Central (Fitzrovia) serves you with not just food but also the worst kind of customer satisfaction there is on planet earth
-
We were mistreated even after getting our table and informed that there was more delay to the process
-
The behaviour of the management was surprising as they did not even bother apologising
-
The chef really knew what he was doing with the dishes because each and every dish really tasted awesome
-
The portions were also quite filling
-
The only issue I had with Siam Central (Fitzrovia) was that I could not get good customer service which for me is a must
-
Otherwise Siam Central (Fitzrovia) is a must go because of the quality of the food
-
The food was awesome and as was the service
-
The only point which can be a little cumbersome is that there is a specified duration for which you can stay at the place but that did not affect us
-
The overall experience was awesome and I would love to drop by again
-
It oozes charm and atmosphere with a wealth of choice for eating
-
We started with the Siam Combo
-
All of which were deliciously authentic do ask for an extra dipping bowl though
-
The star of the meal was the Massaman Lamb curry
-
Rich curry with potatoes yes you can take the girl out of Ireland but she still loves her spuds with succulent pieces of lamb and a fragrant spicy sauce
-
Was flavoursome and spicy with the sweetness of the pineapple chunks coming through
-
A chilli and aubergine stir fry which had sweet basil and soy beans with slithers of pork added an extra kick
-
We had some roti with a light chilli infused curry sauce
-
I'm biased as Thai is one of my very favourite cuisines
-
Then we got the window seat which would be perfect if you were celeb spotting
-
Stand out dish was the pad Thai
-
3 course lunch menu is quite reasonable for what you get
-
Was over the moon with its taste and softness of meat
-
The prices are really modest
-
We went for lunch and the lunch deal is simply just so cheap
-
Siam Central is pretty close to where I study
-
Is great because prior to that I've been going to Borough Market for the pad thai which is not sustainable because Oyster fare adds up a LOT
-
The pad thai is great lots of veg and egg
-
Fish cakes are good too Siam Central (Fitzrovia) serves authentic Thai food
-
I've been going to siam central for about 2 years now with a relatively pleasant experience
-
Today I decided not to pay the service charge as it was stated on the receipt that it was optional and as a student in central London I'm sure many can relate that money can get tight at times
-
I found it incredibly insulting that I would be denied a table if I didn't pay a service charge that was legally and explicitly stated as optional
-
I am very disappointed by this experience but I guess their service charge is more valuable to them than the price of a meal
-
As good as Thai Metro but with slightly more interesting menu
