Shinwari (Ilford)

• We (all twenty odd of us) were made to eat on the floor
• From communal bowls and with communal naans
• The food itself was a mixed bag
• The opportunity it gave to so many of us to engage and converse was worth the entry price alone I'll have to go back in a smaller party to figure out whether it's any good as a restaurant though
• Despite the fact that it is obviously popular
• Probably the best food I've eaten out in quite a while
• The ambience was very different from a conventional restaurant
• More than that the hosting staffs are extremely courteous and helpful
• It is a wonderful way to get together with your friends
• You have any option a nice fancy floor or a table with glowing candles
• Ordered the sharing meat platter which came with 2 types of chutney and small salad
