  • I've come here a few times now with my collegue as we work just around the corner

  • I have to say Shalamar Kebab House (Whitechapel) is really a hidden gem

  • The interior and exterior is very out of date

  • White walls and water served in metal cups but I guess this is them trying to preserve the authenticity of the cuisine

  • The have a very small and simple menu but this is what allows them to perfect whatever dish they already have on there

  • I usually order an extra hot Meat Karai which is slow cooked meat with garlic
