• With everything from Neal's Yard cheese platters to steaks and daily specials The Royal Oak (Bethnal Green) is always a treat for food
• This pub on Columbia Road is ideal if you are looking for a very friendly and cool atmosphere to get some drinks or food at
• Drinks and especially beers are of good quality
• The outdoor seating area at the back of this British pub is fantastic in summer
• The Royal Oak is most certainly the best pub on Columbia Road
• The Royal Oak is a large traditional corner pub
• Its always full with young trendy people
• The atmosphere around is always very nice and relaxed
• Do note that there is also a really nicely hidden beer garden/smoking area behind the pub
• The Royal Oak is almost a traditional boozer with dark wood walls and a three sided bar that practically guarantees you'll get served at some point
• The ambient is great especially on the evenings
• Not only The Royal Oak (Bethnal Green) is great for drinking
• Their back yard is also very cosy
• The burger is my personal favorite on a Friday evening
• The outside space is very cozy too
