The Putney Canteen (Putney)

• Came here for the first time with a group of friends this weekend in need of some hangover curing food
• The atmosphere here is really chilled and the decor is really interesting and quirky
• We all had the Putney canteen breakfast (or the vegetarian version) and it was really good
• I went for the Vegetarian Breakfast which came with 2 eggs cooked however I wanted (I went for poached
• I must say it was pretty filling but I was quite disappointed with my eggs as they weren't runny at all
• The rest of the breakfast was good value for the reasonable price
• We also shared the banana pancakes between us which was rather tasty with blueberries and maple syrup
• We sat near the kitchen so we could see all the yummy looking dishes going out to customers and they also do a Sunday Roast with unlimited Yorkshire puddings
• Had the english breakfast there and it was really good
• Their chocolate milkshakes are great as well
• Their staff are absolutely brilliant
• Atmosphere is really nice both outside and inside
