The Porterhouse (Covent Garden)

• There was absolutely no space and there were people hanging out on the staircases as well
• I wonder if the kitchen has to do much work in the evenings though because even with quite a good food menu
• I did not see one person with anything solid on their table
• The porterhouse is one of the rare pubs in London which lives up to the hype
• Whether they are all worth stocking up
• They had an extensive list of Czech beer to choose from (unfortunately none of them on tap) plus there was live music downstairs
• The atmosphere was electric and I recall that when the performance ended I was chanting 'one more song
• It took a while to register that everyone else around me was silently staring at me
• The music is not too loud so you can still have a chat with a few friends
• Was a little disappointed with the food though
• I shared one of their platters and was expecting more than the reheated (probably Iceland) meat skewers and various bits of not quite freshly cut salad
• I turned up without booking on the Friday evening at around 7pm and obviously the tables were all busy but I decided to go around I returned after 9pm
• Inside the atmosphere is really warm and enjoyable
• Especially if you are with your friends you should definitely go
• I do not know that why people does not like The Porterhouse (Covent Garden) because according to me The Porterhouse (Covent Garden) is a must visit
• Me The Porterhouse (Covent Garden) is the best place to go with your friends and spend some quality time
• The interiors and ambiance of the place is pretty good
• The food here is delicious and fresh
• The present management of The Porterhouse (Covent Garden) is really arrogant and callous in their behaviour
• We went for roast dinner and everything was poorly cooked
• The service was poor and the food disgusting
• This restaurant is infamous for the service
• The prices are huge and well the whole experience of dining at the restaurant is a mistake
• The service dished out by the staff is awful and they need to enter training again
• I do not know what was wrong with the bartender other day

• I won't be returning her again because the service that I had was the worst one in my whole life
• The beer served to me was flat and did not taste as though it was from a fresh batch
• The manager told me it was meant to be like that
• The service was very rude and seemed to be disinterested in the job they were being paid
• This is the perfect place to go to if you are hungry for an Irish treat
• From fresh beer being brewed while you are served with a sumptuous meal
• Ales and stouts are a must try

• Over the years the charm of the place has severely deteriorated but my relation with the place is like one of those old marriages that cannot be severed no matter how disappointing
• The interiors were beautiful and it was much bigger than it actually looked from the exteriors

• The staff on the other hand is not at all efficient that is definitely the area that should be taken care of and improved upon

• I must say that the service we received was quite contrary to the one we had expected before entering this restaurant

• I also approached the manager with the issue who only refunded the order but didn't apologise for the staff's behaviour

• It may also be noted that the place is not the cheapest option you have around

• You will not be disappointed as the overall experience is more than average
• The management doe not seem to be doing anything and there is complete oversight now

• My experience at The Porterhouse (Covent Garden) was very frustrating and upsetting
• The place was packed with people everywhere
• The restaurant is a microbrewery and the ambiance justifies the menu
• The music is rocking and the place is a lot of fun
• Tried to reserve an area a few days and go and was told 'we don't take bookings in the Xmas period'
• Asked whether they were going to be serving drinks from that bar and got told 'maybe
• During the course of the evening the bar staff was either rude or incompetent and sometime both
• By 7pm the place was pretty packed and we decided to leave
• The Porterhouse is a typical tourist trap in a very touristy area
• Where they get away with bad service and with a shady clientele who sits there waiting for valuables to be left unattended
• One of my the best experience in London
• Amazing bar with really good beer
• Outdoor area in front could do with a bit of a spruce but for a more 'elegant dive'
• We asked a staff member if they could close the door because there was a mouse and they told us that we had to leave because they were closing and they had to clean our table
• We said that there was a mouse and they didn't care and said we had to leave and shut the lights ONLY of the area we were sitting
• We asked to speak with the manager and didn't care at all
• The manager and staff are so rude and the worst is that they don't even care about anything you say
• Actually the staff are rude to the manager and the manager to the clients
• They serve food and the place is infected with mice

• Went for a catch up with mates on a Friday evening looking for an evening of fun
• Insanely busy and unsurprisingly so but with a good vibe indoors and outdoors
• Especially the ones on tap with the lagers pretty average but the ales of a higher caliber
• I visited The Porterhouse (Covent Garden) with my friends and I ordered pale ale which was superb I really appreciate there staff service
• Always foster and guiness are my favs❤️❤️
