My first encounter with the owner started out with me oooing and aahing at the photos of the food
Candy Cafe (Chinatown) was empty when I went during a lunch break from work
S was this offer for Taiwanese tea with soya pudding as a drink
It was absolutely delicious the Taiwanese tea was different to HK style tea
The pudding was also Taiwanese style
Desserts are reasonably priced (3 7 GBP) and are served hot or cold
Deserts here are simply sweet but what makes Candy Cafe (Chinatown) interesting is the consistency of the food most of it is served in a liquidy bubbly form that I hadn't encountered before
Good place to have conversation with your friend
It was absolutely delicious the Taiwanese tea was different to hk style tea
The pudding was also taiwanese style
The pancakes are heaven on a plate
Served warm with your choice of filling and topped with ice cream
Blink and you'll miss it but this hidden Asian dessert parlour is pretty good place to visit after a meal in Chinatown
