  • Some great service and the convenience of having a mosque across the road and you end up with a pretty solid experience

  • The food itself was generous (even though I wolfed it down pretty quickly) with each pie coming with a choice of two sides and gravy

  • If you are looking to eat some exotic pies then this is just the right the place

  • The Tikka Masala Pie is what I recommend you to have

  • When it's cold and raining outside if you want comfort food that is cheap this is the place to be

  • They have a range of pies however everytime I go there they don't have the korma pie which is quite disappointing which they eventually took off the menu

  • So I go for my usual the chicken and mushroom which is mainly mushroom and hardly any chicken

  • True to their word it is quite spicy however I love the heat

  • Other option that is never there is the 2 out of the three gravy options

  • I don't like the sides either so I always go for the mash and spiced mash which is quite a lot of mash and not enough gravy

  • A quaint little spot with a smart dé

  • The Pie Factory is a good spot for some filling comfort food

  • I was slightly disappointed with the sides on offer

  • Opted for the spiced mash and roast vegetables which were satisfactory but not on par with the quality of the pie

  • 5.50 getting you a specialty pie with two sides and some gravy

  • Visited The Pie Factory (Whitechapel) as this was a place I kept hearing about a lot when conversing with friends

  • The easiest way to find your way there is that it is opposite East London Mosque

  • Pie Factory is a little cafe like place which serve selected pies

  • Acquainted with sides and gravy

  • I think the place could do with a bit more color

  • You could feel they were trying to be trendy but the interior was not quite fitting in properly

  • Felt a little like sitting in a school dinner surrounded with white walls

  • The roast vegetables were not what I had expected

  • I think these could be better if it were replaced with other vegetables

  • One of the assistant/waiter was quite rude to a customer who had already ordered

  • Whether he was having a bad day

  • The place was not overwhelming it was a relaxed and easy going

  • Our bill for 4 people with drinks and deserts (Caramel Tart with custard like old times ) came to £

  • After hearing so much about it from my work colleague I decided to go there with some of my work team

  • Yes it was busy lunch time which is a good sign I guess

  • The price they were charging for a complete decent size plate trust me it was value for money and above all worth more

  • Mushroom pie with roast veg and spicy mash

  • The spicy mash was spicy with real green chillies and onions with a good helping of coriander I must say I was pleasantly surprised with its taste

  • Let me tell you it was much better than the Square Pie Company pie in taste

  • Did not take any pics we were too old for that but I did see plenty of young people taking selfies with the pies they ordered

  • Value and taste wise possibly one of the best café

  • Me and all my work colleague agreed to rave about The Pie Factory (Whitechapel) starting with writing reviews

  • Went to pie factory with work friends after hearing a lot about it

  • Probably one of the best café

  • Went there for the very first time and was pleasantly surprised

  • I chose a spinach and feta pie with wedges and roast veg

  • Mushroom pie with mash and roast veg

  • 4.95 | This was actually my second time at Pie Factory

  • The pastry was hot and crispy and the filling was just as fab

  • The service was excellent during both my visits

  • Also the presentation of the food is always beautifully done

  • I'd say Pie Factory is the place to go

  • Chicken and mushroom pie was better in my view then sq pie company and the tika pie was excellent as well

  • To add to the pies they had a grilled half chicken that tasted Devine with roast veg and spicy mash

  • To top that up was a real red velvet cake possibly the best red velvet cake served in the area

  • The service was great and they made my pie from scratch since I had a bit more time on my hands and it was worth the wait

  • In the middle of the hustle and bustle of whitechapel is this small joint called the pie factory

  • The moment you enter you are greeted by the warm aroma of baked pies

  • The ambience is welcoming and prepares you for some nice comfort food

  • Trying a shephards pie in london was on my checklist and that is exactly what i did

  • The pie comes with a choice of gravy and two sides

  • I ordered spiced mashed and wedges with onion based gravy

  • All this for a lil over 5 pounds and it will leave you with no complaints

  • Indian tongues used to the roller coasters of spices this might be a little underwhelming but with some salt and pepper bobs your uncle

  • The pie factory is one of two restaurants that I know of that focus on pies for halal food consumer

  • Opposite the east London mosque the location is ideal for the target crowd

  • S good to see that as a halal food addict that places are opening up that allow people like you and me to try food that has been unavailable to us growing up

  • I was always wanted to try what other people were eating as growing up I was just restricted to one type of cuisine

  • Food was lovely but was a little cold

  • Small place so had to wait for a little while to get a table but the staff were very helpful and lovely

  • My friends shepherds pie was a bit strange had a pastry base but he still enjoyed

  • My son ordered chicken strips which were unusual as they were fried in batter but really crispy and tasty

  • Usually it's packed but that day was quite empty

  • Went here for afternoon lunch with some colleagues and our noon wasperfect with there perfect meal

  • I had an amazing food experience with some many dishes to be chosen
