The Owl and Pussycat (Shoreditch)

• As it was pretty busy in The Owl and the Pussycat and it was only a Wednesday
• I was going to Deviation at Concrete which is just around the corner so thought this would be an ideal place for a couple of drinks first
• Ending up potentially sharing with another group or two
• The pub itself is quite small but it has a sizeable (heated) courtyard at the back to squeeze some more people in
• A normal sized (ie not the 250ml bucket) of wine was under £
• T think there was a single girl in there without a flat fringe and it was mostly groups of people
• Cor also made it quite a romantic pub (I think the poetic name helps) and I can imagine going with my boyfriend for a few drinks together and some tasty sounding bar snacks &ndash
• A typical bar with their beers on tap
• Busy place with not too much sitting space
• Our favourite back 'garden' is still there which is great in the summer if you can stand the intensity of smoke fumes
• Was mostly cold and felt like it was cooked from frozen
• On priciple getting lunch gazumped by the restaurant itself is really poor and whilst I understand that they're a business and they have to make money the Owl &
• Luckily there are loads of options locally so hopefully we'll find something for a party of 9
