There is quite a lot of variety in the salty section with a disproportionately large number of vegetarian options and the sweet crepe section has the usual suspects such as nutella banana
-
The sweet crepes are served with 3 scoops of vanilla ice cream so prepare to share or enter a food coma after the meal (like I did)
-
The profiterole section is also amazing
-
The service is a bit slow but we went on a super busy day
-
Plus all salty crepes are for GBP 5 on Mondays that's 50% off the listed price
-
(We were a group of students bargain hunting is our birthright)
-
What Arushi has written is absolutely correct
-
Some of the waiting staff is mind numbingly hot
-
Located on the west end this is a good place for people who love pancakes both sweet and savoury
-
It is quite busy at most times and specially Mondays when it is half price
-
It might look easy to finish but trust me it is quite a heavy meal
-
The service is a bit on the weaker side because of the excessive crowd the place is a bit cramped as well
-
I am not complaining the meal is absolutely worth the trouble
-
This pancake/ crepe cafe has the best savory crepes I have ever tasted
-
The only let down was the fact the sauce made my pancake very soggy in a few minutes
-
The greek and the Italian are great vegetarian options too
-
Everything with berries and/or chocolate/nutella is heaven
-
Accompanied with generous scoops of ice cream
-
Oreo and Belgian Chocolate Shakes are must haves
-
Again the quantity is quite large
-
10% off for students with valid student ID
-
Decided to get some brunch with my partner as we were in the city
-
Was so excited about having a pancake as they are a sweet weakness of mine
-
My partner ordered the Butterscotch pancakes and had streaky bacon with fried eggs
-
I was so excited when the waiter returned with this huge plate of sweet smelling goodness
-
The pancake itself was well presented but the bananas tasted unripe &
-
The ice cream didn't taste too good either it was all icy with chunks of ice still in there as to say it hasn't been set properly
-
5 pancakes offer is a fantastic offer to go to
-
These pancakes are freaking huge
-
My Old Dutch was just a chance visit on a lazy Sunday and it turned out to be one of the more interesting meals I have had in London yet
-
Course the fact that it is indeed a chain changes everything but how can one live their life full of high nosed culinary hang ups
-
That and the fact that this is Pancake heaven might be a whole new perspective on a London eating story
-
Cor and the ambience a tad bit too garish (this is why I don&rsquo
-
My Hot Dutch pancake was large *arms very wide apart while I indicate the size here*
-
This humungous creation was a treat to dig into and a crazy task to finish
-
Not saying it was bad but may be cause i do not like pancakes much
-
Tried the savoury pancake _ the one with Sunny side up (egg) also tasted the Sweet one with chocolate sundae
-
The Nutella and Oreo ones were the favourites
-
The restaurant is set over two floors but all that space soon fills up in the evenings
-
Especially on Mondays where pancakes are only £
-
The pancakes here are just glorified pizzas they don't even attempt to fold them into any kind of pancake format either
-
Do not kid yourself you're heading out for a healthy option here but if a pizza brunch is what your craving
-
My Old Dutch is definitely your gig
-
The best pancakes are the sugar and lemon ones because I love the sweet and tangy combo
-
Light wooden furniture with tiled floors and blue tables
-
My old dutch is a place for everyone
-
The interior is not modern by any means
-
The overall experience was incredible
-
As someone whose only had Butter and maple syrup on Pancakes I was amazed at how diverse Pancakes could be
-
The sweet chocolate Pancake was another must have I might just order both and devour them next time I visit
-
Because it was so popular the staff were a little scatty and slow with keeping tabs on how we were enjoying ourselves
-
My Old Dutch is a great cafe style pancake restaurant
-
The simplicity is perfect for the food that they serve
-
The service was a little bit slow
-
Granted we were there at a busy hour
-
My favourites are the Banana
-
Especially considering they are very big servings
-
My favourite is the chocolate
-
One of the best I have tried in London
-
My Old Dutch is a pancake house best visited on Monday lunchtimes
-
Huge pancakes served on beautiful blue and white china plates are the draw here and My Old Dutch (Holborn) is almost always abuzz with tourists
-
My Old Dutch is under a five minute walk from Holborn Tube Station
-
I came here with a group of friends after work midweek and there was a large line
-
Nothing too bad and the line was constantly shuffling forward
-
It is a large venue so the fact the line was that long clearly means something
-
They arrived quickly and were all about double the size we thought they would be
-
Just dont bother with this one guys
-
My Old Dutch is a pancake house in the heart of Holborn
-
The star of the entire menu are the pancakes and they are treated in different ways
-
My personal favourite is the lemon and sugar which is a staple in Amsterdam
-
There are a bunch of other appetisers and sides which in all honesty are dwarfed by the amount of pancakes one can eat
-
Though the pancakes aren't very authentically Dutch but they are still tasty and make my cut
-
My friends and I were actually planning to have a lunch in a Korean restaurant in Holborn area
-
I didn't expect it was going to be really big
-
As someone who is not a fan of smoked salmon
-
I did try my friend's smoked salmon pancake slapped with creamy mushroom sauce
-
It was really good but sadly we didn't finish it as all of us were really full
-
The smoothies were really tasty
-
We came here on a lunch break so it was the busiest time and we need to wait quite a long time for the food to be served
-
This is a great place to go with friends or family
-
The place is a family friendly restaurant as I saw lots of little kids and young family were here enjoying their food
-
I tried the apple and cinnamon pancake with mango juice
-
Is categorised as their best seller is truly the best I've had
-
The cheese melts in the mouth and the the pancakes are soft and thin
-
Is the case with most American pancakes
-
The pancakes are huge so if you have a small appetite
-
We were in luck because even though there was a little queue outside
-
We were informed that it was Monday Madness and you could get any pancake for £
-
Seeing the smoked salmon pancake with mushrooms and creamy dill sauce on the menu was a complete deal breaker for me
-
I also had a Kinder Bueno milkshake which was delicious but smaller than I was expecting for the £
-
Nuts and chocolate sauce pancake with a few big dollops of vanilla ice cream
-
The service is incredibly quick for such a busy restaurant so don't worry if you're in a bit of a hurry
-
I ordered the Butterscotch Pancakes with chocolate chips and chocolate sauce and strawberries
-
It was delicious but halfway through and I was already in a sugar coma
-
Strawberries and marshmallows and couldn't finish it because it was just so sweet
-
My favorite was the one with chocolate
-
The pancakes are huge and one is a meal in itself
-
Who thought of pancakes with savoury or sweet toppings
-
My old dutch provides mansize pancakes with various toppings
-
Ah My Old Dutch (Holborn) was just amazing
-
The place is always packed and crammed with people but if you arrive after lunch you can get in without a queue
-
This is a quirky looking place with essence of Holland plastered over the walls
-
MY pancake was HUGE and yummy and I opted for a build your own traditional sweet one with maple syrup and strawberries (it came with plenty of both)
-
The pancakes are massive and on Mondays some of the pancakes are only £
-
My boyfriend decided to go full on and order a normal sized pancake which was bloody huge
-
We couldn't get over the feeling we were eating a kind of discount version of a pizza
-
Tasty enough for me to come out with a smile and tasty enough that I would go back again
-
My Old Dutch has gained a cult following with its globe trotting savoury pancake selection alongside their traditional sweet options
-
The lamb stew is the only halal meat option available but with such an extensive selection you're spoilt for choice
-
Shown here is their egg florentine savoury pancake with gooey cheesy droplets
-
A drizzle of more cheese and polished off with the subtle buttery pancake flavour coming through
-
At one point I was tempted to change my order but lo and behold
-
When it comes to their pancakes but perhaps that is my own predilection
-
The lamb stew is always a winner
-
We ordered the slow cooked lamb and were pleasantly surprised
-
Nothing fancy but the lamb was tender and the stew well seasoned
-
I tasted banana nut and chocolate one which was definitely a good choice
-
It was served with an ice cream and cost only £
-
5 since it was on the Monday Madness list
-
Only been a couple times but saying I'm looking forward to going again is an understatement
-
As we entered we were given a table and a menu
-
Most of the staff were not talking in English which I thought to be rude
-
I liked My Old Dutch (Holborn) for breakfast but it is definitely a once in a while kind of breakfast because it is very heavy
-
Everything comes on a crepe with is a really cool concept and also make sure to share with someone because the plate is bigger than the table
-
It was good but the portions are too big for one person
-
It was then that I knew dessert was gonna taste good
-
Are served with toppings that may be unusual for pancakes but not otherwise
-
The duo with ice cream was a classic combination that would be hard to mess up
-
Queues for My Old Dutch (Holborn) on 'Monday Madness' is really quite mad
-
Their actual pancakes are very average
-
Their savory plates are much tastier
-
Did you know that the Boozy Bunch are not just reviewers but readers too
-
The ambience was very arty and the portions were just right
-
We started with the savoury Italian Crepe and the Crispy Bacon &
-
We then called for the Butterscotch Pancake served with Chocolate chips
-
I was in pancake heaven for a while and these are the best ones Ive had till date
-
We also had the Belgian Chocolate Milkshake which was super yummy
-
The menu is endless as are the possibilities
-
They have some great student offers and the ambience is so friendly and fun
-
My old Dutch is full at any time of the day for a reason
-
Fantastic Dutch crepe style pancakes served with almost any kind of filling although I recommend the florentine
-
They also have seasonal drinks like winter lattes/ ginger bread lattes which are perfect for sipping and walking on the street
-
The place is always packed but the flavour is worth the wait
-
Great bkfst option with a wide choice of pancakes
-
I ordered a savory Dutch pancake cakes Italian that comes with melted mozzarella
-
The Dutch pancake is not as thick as the usual pancake
-
The portion is generous and taste was good
-
Ordered the mini pancakes with melted kinder and fresh strawberries
-
Not only the waffles/sweets are good but the savoury items are excellent as well
-
I felt like I was at one of those eating contests
-
My selection was the signature &ldquo
-
10.95) which is topped with smoked bacon
-
That flavour is probably one best shared
-
S still coming up with the best of &rsquo
-
When an invitation to review the High Holborn pancake house came I way I remembered how much I had enjoyed my last time there and was glad to take the restaurant up on its offer to try it again
-
My midweek late breakfast/early lunch was scrumptious and filling
-
Also filling was the restaurant itself with loads of folks looking for a quick lunch &ndash
-
Whether solo with a close friend or in a big group
-
Everything is properly displayed
-
The waiters are nice and helpful
-
The service is fantastic and the staff are very kind and cooperative
-
I went their to have my breakfast and was very fresh and delicious food
-
It was a Monday and there was some offer going on called Monday Madness
-
Strawberry with Ice cream and pancake with Ice cream and chocolate sauce
-
I would definitely recommend to try it once if you are in that area
-
Everything is sooo deliciouss
-
Their breakfast plates of pancakes and even pizzas are so dang huge you&rsquo
-
I ordered the compote of berries pancake with vanilla ice cream and it was £
-
Decently priced since the pancake is literally so big and filling
