Maramia Cafe (Ladbroke Grove)

• They cater for large parties and are said to be relatively well priced
• They hosted around 20 of us last night and although we were seated on a long straight table
• The layout of the place is such that it's easy to move around and switch crowds
• The service is pretty incredible
• The starter of our set meal was buffet the main
• So I didn't really see past the initial gimmick of the way the food was presented to us
• It was okay but hardly one of the best meals I've had
• The savoury meat pastries were all kinds of awesome
• This is brilliant value for those with big appetites (there was plenty of food left) but for someone who eats a normal amount it's difficult to justify the price
• On a weekday is slightly quieter
• The chicken and rice is another great dish and the portions are plentiful you could split the two with a friend and still have some left to take home
• The service is friendly and welcoming and although sometimes slow
• When the food arrives it is always worth the wait
• The owners have some hilarious stories to tell and if the restaurant is quiet will sit down with you and tell you all sorts of tales
• Ve been here with family and friends and both have been impressed with the experience
• When it is not the staff are very attentive
• Anything on the menu is not a let down
• The service is good and quick
• My friend lived in Palestine and said that the food was as good as it was over there
• Pleased to find it as one of my friends Mohamed El Gharably is a Palestinian
• There is no external staff and the couple who run the restaurant deal with everything
• There is a sharing platter which is really big and great if you are a group of 8 9
• Everything we ordered was just great
