Mandarin Kitchen (Bayswater)

• The restaurant is always full and you have to wait a bit till you get a table though the service is quick
• We were told to order an extra dish though our party was quite satisfied with the quantity of what we had ordered
• When we were told that Mandarin Kitchen in Bayswater serves the best Lobster Noodles in London &ndash
• The source of this information was our trusty driving instructor Albert Low
• Who by the way is an excellent instructor
• Right near the window which was prime viewing position
• We started with some lovely Oolong Chinese tea (Ti Kuan Yum) and ordered one of their signature dishes &ndash
• Steamed King Scallops in a garlic soya sauce that came with tiny crystal noodles
• A gigantic Lobster with Ginger and Spring Onions on top of a bed of soft glistening noodles
• The waiters break it up for you and serve it quite efficiently so all you have to do is dig out the soft delicious lobster flesh
• The noodles were incredibly tasty
• A tender Beef Fillet in a sweet plum Mandarin sauce with a pimped out Yeung Chow Egg fried rice that had shrimp and pork
• Our early reservation made surer we were ushered in ceremoniously to our seat in the cavernous decor which is really cozy and has a vintage feel to it

• A quick glance to the entrance of the restaurant confirmed the continual queue that was forming for a table at the restaurant
• This time though there was a queue leading outside the restaurant as well

• We visited here on a Friday night for Dinner and obviously it was almost full
• The only thing which I didn't liked about this restaurant is the service is very very slow
• I can understand as it was too crowded
• Amazing food with lovely ambience
• Many years I had walked past this restaurant and never went in because the look of the window is a bit weird
• Then a friend me took me there for dinner and I was really amazed
