Little Persia (Bayswater)

• Underneath a heated theatrical tent is Little Persia's Shisha lounge
• Naan bread is freshly baked in a stone oven next to the entrance
• As soon as you step through the door you are instantly greeted with the warming aroma of freshly baked bread
• A mixed grill of chicken and lamb marinated with an array of rich spices served with rice and salad
• The meat was slightly on the tougher side as it was a tad over cooked
• I just wished it was as tender as it looked
• Personally I think Little Persia is great for a group of 4 6 people
• The Jooje Kebab is my favourite main at this restaurant and the grape shisha flavour is surprisingly good
• Overall it is worth a visit but as I said
• Cosy and smells great which is a huge positive for a Persian restaurant
• The food portion size is surprisingly huge and deliciously made
• I had a lovely time with my friends celebrating a birthday at Little Persia
• The shisha is wonderful too
• We ordered from the shisha menu which was quite elaborate itself
• Their Persian tea is always spot on
• What the hidden surprise is their basement
• Their food is really good with the downstairs always buzzing
• Had a nice evening here with 2 friends recently after work
• Out of these I have to say the food at Little Persia is probably the best
• In our opinion the Chenjeh was more flavoursome
• Now one thing I have to mention is how impressed I am with the rice
• I know this seems slightly insignificant to some however as an aspiring chef whose bain of culinary life is getting rice right
• The rice had a nice flavouring to it and was just the right consistency
• One thing that did surprise me was the number of staff that were working at the restaurant
• A small place there were almost as many staff members as there were customers
• The food was delivered in good time so therefore this isn't a complaint it is just an observation
• As I'm relatively new to the cuisine however (as are my friends) it would have been nice if the waiters/waitresses were a bit more knowledgeable on the dishes
• Overall the meal was very enjoyable
• I would happily return and pay the full price especially as it is so convenient a location to visit my friends
• The food was lovely but we're not sure if for the price it was anything to rave about
• We started with delicious bread
• The Persian mint tea is absolutely gorgeous
• The atmosphere is OK but not brilliant
• We went for lunch and it was quiet and a bit dull
• It seemed that there was maybe too many people working there
• Their chicken was well marinated and i really liked it
• You have to end the meal with the persian tea
• Its not as strong as the turkish tea which is pretty similar and served in similar glasses
• The space is limited there are simple shisha flavours with nice and welcoming staff at little persia
