Lemonia (Primrose Hill)

• A great place to come with family and friends alike
• I was so small when I first frequented Lemonia that I used to fall asleep on my parents lap as they chatted away for hours with friends over good wine
• I recommend ordering a bunch of different starters to share with a healthy amount of houmous and taramasalata followed by the Kleftiko
• It's definitely one of the best spots to dine or lunch in the primrose hill/camden area
• This greek inspired restaurant combines the best of flavours
• Oh and you start up the meal with some nice olives and carrots
• The restaurant is quite big but it's mostly busy so I suggest you book ahead
• The quality of the menu was outstanding
• Book one of their long tables and fill with as much food as possible
• I suggest having the meze for the best selection but that is the more pricey option
• There were some things I liked a lot at Lemonia and others I was less than impressed with
• The yoghurt was nice and thick with fresh dill in it
• The bread that came with it was so hard that you could break a tooth on it
• This restaurant was recommended to me by a big fan of Greece and Greek cuisine
• I thought that the value was not the greatest
• Its a pretty crowded place and the service was not as attentive as it should have been
• You go to a Greek restaurant for the food and here Lemonia was a real let down
• Plenty of Greek restaurants in London are as good or better
• Our Humus starter was just plain odd unlike any humus I've had in Greece or elsewhere
• My Lamb Shaslik were poor cuts of meat
• The Greek Yoghurt was a good desert
• If busy it would add to the friendly atmosphere with the chatty staff which rubbed off on the other customers giving a positive vibe
• The service was brilliant and they were very attentive and the food came out quickly
• Considering this was a party of ten we never had empty glasses and had to try to get anyone's attention for a drink which is always a pleasant surprise in a large group
• The actual food itself was probably the best greek food you can get in London and was cooked in the traditional ways
• You can't argue with about £
• The only drawback is that the staff is of the sort of not very easy going
• The pita bread is very fresh
• We had the 'all you can eat menu' and was around £
• The atmosphere is great and the food is authentic home cooked Greek fare
• All fresh and well presented with amazing flavours
• The prices are also extremely reasonable for London
