Le Gourmet (Paddington)

• The place seats about 20 and is clean with an appetising looking counter out front which displays all the proteins that can be grilled
• Picked up a a large mixed shawarma (chicken and lamb) which was very filling in itself
• The grilled seabass was very fresh
• Seasoned only with salt they did provide garlic mayo and a chilli sauce to go with it
• The grilled sea bass came with a choice of rice or chips and salad
• I asked for a lemon and mint juice while we were waiting for our fish to be grilled
• Having lived in the Levant and growing up around Lebanese food (my best friend is Lebanese) this really make me feel at home
• Food was ok however was ridiculous
• The manager when asked why am ordinary glass was charged 3 pounds
• He simply replied this is the commercial rate
• We tried the Lamb Shawarma and the meat was very well cooked and sauses were tasty too
