  • My experience at Lazeez was one of mismatched expectation &ndash

  • I was expecting something more akin to a restaurant and Lazeez is more like an upmarket Kebab joint

  • I hesitate to add that this is no bad thing

  • The interior is small and sparsely furnished with a curious lack of tables

  • T really help with the atmosphere inside

  • Open windows are wafting in smoke from outside and it feels peculiar and not altogether pleasant

  • The mezze selection are priced at an average of £

  • 6 per dish with the mains starting from £

  • The grilled Tiger Prawns are unavailable

  • Is disappointing for a Friday evening and so we choose the Mixed Grill with rice instead

  • Smooth and flavoursome and easily mopped up with long strips of pitta bread

  • T been worked out well and the lamb nestled in the middle is fatty and overdone

  • T really be served crispy and these are off cuts I&rsquo

  • We finish our meal off with a waffle topped with strawberries and chocolate ice cream

  • Unfortunately the waffle has come straight from the freezer to microwave and the middle is still cold

  • Ve had in quite some while was recently enjoyed at the few months old Lazeez restaurant on Duke Street across from Selfridges

  • Lazeez offers a delicious range of classic Middle Eastern dishes made to share and prepared with fresh ingredients

  • Kellaj (charcoal grilled Lebanese bread filled with halloumi and mint

  • Falafel and hummus were both top notch as well &ndash

  • I was happy to wind down my mini feast with a double espresso of illy (£

  • 2.75) served with some complimentary baklava

  • The shisha the atmosphere is different in the evening

  • If you want to know if Lazeez (Marylebone) is worth a visit

  • Service ok but the taboulleh was really onion and lettuce salad

  • The falafel was frankly raw and was thrown away staff were informed but just listened

  • The potato was a mash not spicy potatoes properly cooked

  • There are better Lebanese places with fresher tastier food
