Laicram Thai (Blackheath)

• Serves the best Thai food in the area
• It's interior is incredibly dated
• The starters are authentically good (particularly the stuffed chicken wings) and the staples of Thai cuisine
• The place has been there since long before I lived in the area (which is over 10years) and always good
• Welcoming and helpful and the interiors are a little in need of a touch up
• They also have a list of specials and I was glad to have chosen from the specials this time with a Thai version of a sweet and sour dish
• I opted for prawn and they make a point of mentioning on the menu that the Thai sweet and sour dishes are quite different to Chinese style sweet and sour
• Well seasoned and worked well with the dipping sauce they came with and he spoke highly of the spring rolls
