L'Oud Des Eurasie (Chelsea)

• L'oud des Eurasie is a newly launched and very charming restaurant offering a fusion of French and Lebanese fine dining
• My imagination is instantly captured by the extravagant and swanky Lebanese decor mixed with dainty European interiors
• L'oud des Eurasie is a small restaurant with a intimate boutique feeling
• We started the meal with cocktails which all looked very enticing
• We tried the lychee cocktail and orange blossom cocktail with a little bit of fizz and star fruit too
• The seafood was marinated in tasty spices and I don't eat figs very often but I really enjoyed this combination
• Some gorgeous soft cous cous jewelled with pomegranates that burst as you chew them and the perfect consistency of rice with shreds of what looked like coconut and onion
• I very much enjoyed the naan and roti which was accompanied by an addictive helping of hummus
• Baba ganoush and a mango dipping sauce that was far too spicy for me
• We then tasted some beef which was cooked as a large joint with sultanas and currants
• The cocktails or should I say mocktails as they were alcohol free
• Kept on coming with very sweet pomegranate flavours and passion fruit flavours
• I'm told wasn't as sweet as the others but smooth with a pistachio and honey flavour
• Lastly we tried the lightly seasoned minced beef in baked aubergine but I was struggling anymore by this point and decided I would return again to try more from their impressive and extensive menu
• Oud des Eurasie is a luxurious restaurant and the menu reflects this feel both in terms of ingredients and prices
• As is expected from a restaurant with French links
• It's highlights include white chocolate fondant with mixed berry compote and lavender honeycomb for £
• Oud des Eurasie is a beautiful small restaurant in which the dé
• This makes it the perfect venue for a special occasion and as the food is priced at the high end this is unlikely to be a venue for a causal gathering
