L'orchidee (Stratford)

• I may have fallen in love with L'Orchidee
• The violet and cassis hits you with an initial burst of violet
• First slowly and then with more and more power
• The orchid macaron was both airy and creamy
• All I can say is thank goodness I don't live in Stratford
• I know exactly where everything is and I have a set &lsquo
• I had a cake from here omg it was heaven on earth the well balanced delicate flavours are still playing in my mind even though i had it on sunday
• Thats where i got it from but looks like they are at Westfield sheppers bush too
• S Westfield Stratford is a great place to stop for tea and cake
• L'orchidee is a small boutique on the lower floor of Westfield Stratford (they have additional locations too)
• My trip here is only for one reason
• I didn't really know what to expect but I was pretty happy with what I tried
• Passion fruit zinging with citrus (might be too much for some but its how I like it)
• Pistachio as creamy as you can get and Hazelnut which for me was the standout
• Like eating an Kinder Bueno mixed with a Milo shake but so much better than both
• The macarons were pretty decent too
• Their customer service is commendable
• Every small detail that I wanted was accommodated and the cake was delivered on time and definitely exceeded my expectations
