  • The homemade vanilla and fig brioche buns they use work really well with the pulled pork

  • One of the best in the village

  • The spicy chicken wings are a must try

  • This popular interest is no coincidence either

  • 7 the burgers are oozing with flavour and value

  • Unless you've been living under a rock you can't have failed to notice that there are quite a few decent places to eat in Brixton these days

  • Our friends are Brixton locals and they love The Joint (Brixton) and had no problem in going there again

  • In addition to this there are several sides/starters you can order 'riblets'

  • On this occasion they also had a special of BBQ shredded beef brisket in a bun with guacamole and crispy potato

  • My boyfriend and I shared one Asian pulled pork and one beef as well as having some wings and some riblets with our friends

  • The wings and riblets were juicy as can be

  • The Joint have invented their own sourdough bun with vanilla and fig glaze which does the job of sweetening it up like a brioche

  • The pulled pork version is crammed with meat and coleslaw

  • I favoured the pulled pork though I suspect this was only because by the time I'd made it through half of it and onto the beef one

  • The only place I get that stuffed for so little money is when I get a rib roll from the Ribman

  • LIghtly toasted with a bit of butter on them would be just scrumptious

  • Choosing where to eat in Brixton Village / Market Row is always difficult (for all the right reasons)

  • Mint infused water is a nice touch

  • The onion rings were delicious covered in a delicate batter and an indulgent BBQ sauce

  • They are currently serving special pulled pork wontons with a BBQ sweet chilli jam dip highly recommended

  • Lots of places are doing tasty pulled pork options

  • Personally I was very taken with it

  • The portions are enormous for £

  • Beware it is a fairly messy meal

  • Simple menu with huge amount of detail and craft put into each item

  • Let me start off by saying that The joint is probably the coolest hang out in brixton

  • The Panko Chicken Thigh is my favourite

  • I'll settle for hots wings with guacamole which is just as good

  • The prices are fair and the service is fast

  • The space is far from boundless but its nice a cosy which is fitting for chit chat

  • I would probably say it's some of the best pulled pork around

  • I had the asian slow cooked chicken which was incredible

  • Busy and the Brixton market is a great place to hang out with friends

  • The pulled pork bun is very juicy and massive

  • It's BYOB and the BBQ sandwiches are just £

  • A brilliantly relaxed atmosphere combined with quick service make this the perfect spot to share a great evening with friends

  • We started with the hot wings which come out tied up in a paper bag

  • Then we went for the Asian burger (slow cooked pulled pork with spring onion

  • When we were done they bring you out a wet wipe which is much needed

  • With many places to eat in Brixton market and with the American dining market flooded in London

  • Well ask the people people willing to wait half an hour for a bite to eat at the joint and this is a regular sighting

  • From baby back ribs (when I hear baby back ribs I'm always doing a little dance in my head) beef burgers and the pulled pork buns which is the main selling point of this remarkable restaurant

  • Another selling point is how well priced these items are sides are £

  • Fresh daily cocktails are worth a try too

  • Perfect for anyone looking for generous helpings of delicious food all served up with a smile and a great vibe

  • Despite our indecisiveness they were more than happy to give us recommendations

  • It's BYOB and the burgers are a very reasonable at £

  • Great example of street food there 16 hours pulled pork was delicious and the portions are beyond generous

  • The BBQ chicken wings were my favourite bit by far

  • They started in 2012 as a pop up with the aim of serving 'fast food with a twist' and honing the chef meets baker concept to a tee

  • Their meat is all free range (pork supplied by Ginger Pig nonetheless) and the buns are all made in house

  • I'm not really a pulled pork kinda gal but this was a rare case of love at first (big) bite

  • The BBQ pulled pork bun is made with brioche

  • The pulled pork is tender and flavoursome and the barbecue sauce is a good balance of tangy and sweet

  • The brioche had a slight sweetness to it which surprisingly worked well with the pork and it amazed me as it held everything together even when the juices oozed out and slipped down my arms

  • The Asian pulled pork bun is freaking amazing

  • They're very generous with the pork so for £

  • 10.50 if you want to add some guac or cheese etc) this is seriously a fantastic bargain

  • I rarely order chicken when I eat out but this was quite superb

  • 4.50 each) are wrapped up in greaseproof paper which I find too good an idea

  • I'm a sucker for good onion rings but have been dismayed with the selection in the city

  • These moreish rings are so crispy and not soggy at all

  • The chilli riblets are fall off the bone succulent and great

  • Could do with a bit more heat as well but I'm pleased to report these bad boys are big enough to claim their worth

  • Better run and have a bun for fun before I bore you with more silly puns

  • It was probably one of the best gigs I&rsquo

  • The menu here isn't difficult to navigate and intuitively straightforward with a handful of mains supported by another handful of sides

  • Today belonged to the beef brisket bun with smoked aioli and bacon relish

  • The brisket was slow cooked to perfection and moreish

  • The bun itself is something to be lauded

  • It is as full a brioche as a full brioche can be and is a meal in itself with all its buttery goodness

  • An order of the wings is obligatory

  • Whether you order the BBQ wings or the hot wings is irrelevant just order one

  • It is fried chicken at its best lathered with an addictive sweet sauce

  • You're spoiled as a diner when visiting Brixton with a pleather of choice to grab a bite

  • The pulled pork burger was seriously good and bursting with flavour

  • Chicken wings peppered with scotch bonnet

  • Headed to Brixton Village with my little brothers (who were down visiting for the weekend) in search of a tasty dinner

  • We all opted for 16hr Pulled Pork buns though I went with the Asian Pulled Pork

  • The Asian slaw was pretty spicy but so fresh and tasty and contrasted beautifully with the tender pulled pork

  • Along with the super fresh brioche bun I was on to a winner

  • Chunky crispy onion rings with tangy BBQ sauce and shoestring fries smothered in cheesey bechamel

  • Mac n cheese bites equally so and the sweet potato fries are the perfect addition
