  • Being a short distance from the renowned Brick Lane including the massed Indian restaurants that East London is not deprived of

  • Picking one is an arduous effort

  • Indiana churns out one of the best Indian meals we have had by far

  • If you are not familiar with East London

  • The dessert menu is lengthen by the choice of bought in sweets with the exception to the gulab jamun

  • Every dish was nicely presented on plates with clean rims

  • Meals were served at apropos intervals with the occassional check by the waiter making sure that wine glasses were topped up and we were happy with the food served

  • We had a splendid meal with generous portion at superb prices teemed with good service in a rather insipid restaurant

  • I conclude that we it was a good gamble and I know I am definitely a returning customer

  • Surprised me with the potato dumpling

  • Said so on their menu that it was one of Indiana's signature dishes

  • The prawns were coated in a herby breadcrumb mix

  • The dish was aromatic with a slight hint of spices

  • Large cubes of grilled salmon with crunchy crust of thick herb marinate

  • The salmon was moist despite the intense grill cooking

  • I thought that it was slightly vain of them to charge the condiments separately

  • Maybe not the best I have ever had

  • The prices are reasonable

  • Found this gem by chance as I was staying in the neighbourhood

  • Turned out to be a Sheek Kebab served on a banana leaf with small side salad and a hot sauce in a small bowl

  • It was the first time I was enticed to eat the accompanying Salisbury in an Indian restaurant

  • Baby tomato and the dressing was very complementary

  • The main course was Chicken Jalfrezy but with a difference

  • The waiter knows his food and is eager to talk about in detail
