Hunter 486 (Marble Arch)

• Any fear of tackiness quickly dissipated once we entered The Arch this was actually a classy little boutique hotel
• Our intention was to stick to express (or set) menu
• Despite our Muslim diet the choice was pretty decent
• Everything was pretty damned good
• A strange little pudding with a pipette sticking out
• It all sounds strange but the end result was well worth defying my self placed chocolate ban over
• I have to note the service of the place both our servers as well as the restaurant manager were pretty amazing
• It was one of those rare occasions where we were all more than happy to pay the recommended service charge (and then some)
• If I'm totally honest it was pretty much worth every penny
• This brasserie is situated inside the rather swanky
• I had beef carpaccio with a rocket and parmesan salad and for main I had a fillet steak with bearnaise sauce
• Made the dish whilst the steak was one of the best I've ever had
• Even better with the most amazing bearnaise
• The Hunter 486 bar in the Arch Hotel (Marble Arch) has recently launched a range of sorbtails (a mix of cocktails and sorbets) which I went to try with a friend recently
• So needed to counteract the booze with a couple of their sharing platters
• We went for a plate of antipasti meats and French cheeses and we got a good variation of meat and cheese which was perfect temperature
• For a hotel the prices were very reasonable
• Ultra chic boutique hotel that is the Arch and named after the 1950's dialling code for Marylebone
• My experience at this impeccable hotel is always a pleasurable one
• I am greeted with a welcoming presence to make you feel right at home
• The food here is just glorious
• My selection of 3 dishes as follows along with a glass of Sav Blanc from my country of birth
• Very light on the tummy to start with plus anything to do with the mention of chilli has my seal of approval
• My fellow dining partner choose the pan fried Scallops which is always guaranteed a hit as an entree
• Sticking with the 'lighter theme' I picked the roasted whole sea bass with orange &
• Written exactly how it comes and done in their stone oven which I was totally digging by the way
• You could say it was simply delicious
• I also managed to get my hands on some rib eye steak with a selection of different sauce toppings
• The warm apple and rhubarb crumble with ginger custard for dessert was a killer
• Portraying a touch of London glamour with gleaming leather booths
• There is even an adjoining Salon de Champagne bar for those more intimate evenings accompanied with the bubbles
• Corporate lunch or just a good excuse to visit because it is just so damn fabulous
• Hunter is somewhere that is sure to impress your other half
• Set in the beautiful Arch London the Restaurant is really modern and offers private dining
• With a wonderful menu with something for everyone and a variety of special menu's available that you need to keep your eye open about
• Our waitresses were knowledgeable and friendly when greating us and showing us to our table and taking our order
• The dishes are created using British produce and meat and the menu was brought together by Head Chef Gary Durrant at Hunter 486 and Henrietta Gree
• It has been a while since I last did a staycation the last one was during my birthday at the Royal Horseguards Hotel which was a fun weekend indeed
• Marble Arch which is located just a stone's throw away
• Sadly that restaurant is no more as of the last few weeks and personally
• I was really impressed with the aesthetics of the hotel itself but what I like most is the artwork
• Hunter 486 is a restaurant based inside of The Arch London
• Had a lunch with my girlfriends to celebrate a birthday
• The crab meat linguine filled with fresh crab meat
• The lemon posset was like thick lemon yoghurt
• Very beautiful place with equally beautifully made dishes
• The plating is so fantastic every angle is a work of art
