Honest Burgers (Soho)

• Because it is a known fact that burgers always end up getting messy
• Honest burger in my view is the best burger joint in London
• The Soho branch is based on Meard Street and is one of three
• We visited at 2pm and were seated within a few minutes
• The menu is simple with three variations of burgers
• Cheese and the Honest burger with smoked bacon
• The portion of chips was very generous and I was happy to see a thick juicy patty
• What good is it if the fine dining scene is spectacular but the street food scene is uninspiring
• I've always loved burgers and it is a meal pretty much everyone enjoys and loves so I thought it would make the best test of the culinary foundations of London
• I have tried to capture all sorts of atmospheres with the restaurants from the burgers made in the dingy corners of Soho to the more decadent burgers made in glamorous Mayfair

• Burger joints are popping up all over town and we just can't seem to get enough

• I think this is a very efficient system because we didn't have to stand outside the restaurant and could do something else while we waited for our table

• '( later on I managed to catch her and she told me I was suppose to go up to her and tell her to add my name but I was a first time customer
• I asked the waitress for a recommended burger and I told her my preferences is spicy burgers
• 11.5) she told me the Bloody Mary ketchup is very spicy
• So finally when I ate the brunch burger all I tasted was disappointment with a side of bacon
• The only thing I like was the mason jars and the homemade lemonade
• Word on the street is Honest Burgers do some of the best burgers in london
• The menu is split up by chicken/beef/vegetable plus they have specials which are written out on the blackboards adorning the walls
• E and I both went for the Honest burger patty with red onion relish
• Washed down with ginger beer and homemade lemonade
• It's not quite my best burger in London that title is proudly held by the folks over at Patty &
• The patty is nice and juicy and the bun is robust enough to stay together right until the last bite
• Even their veg ones are really good
• I don't eat a lot of burgers and this was one out of two that I had in London but was hands down something everyone should try
• They also take your phone number down and then call you when the table is ready which takes about an hour
• The Rosemary French fries are divine and the best I ever tasted yet
• The caramelised onions blended well with the bacon and pickle

• As I stepped into the Soho outlet of Honest Burgers with my ever enthusiastic lunch companion
• Our lovely waitress Olra guided us through the menu after hearing it was our first time at Honest burgers
• She made sure we were comfortable right from the moment we entered

• Could have done with more bacon but the the pillowy bun and sheer meat goodness wins it out on the day
• Great meat and also the side of chips with sauce was just perfect
• I have to say it was honestly so good
• The onion rings is crispy and huge however there is so much oil drifting out of it
• The burger is a combination of sweet and salty and chilly at the same time
