  • Having gone to hiba express a couple of weeks ago I can happily say that this is a fantastic place to go to for a reasonably priced Lebanese blowout

  • The impression is not suggestive of high quality lebanese fare

  • They were not mind blowing but certainly of good standard and came with authentic bread

  • The mains which followed were feasts for the eyes of carnivores like ourselves

  • My mixed platter came with a range of typical lamb and chicken components

  • What did impress me was the range of slightly less well known arabic dishes which i olny usually eat when my mum cooks them

  • Rich tomato stews with lamb and aubergine were a popular choice

  • The service was excellent and we were very well looked after by the owner

  • Went for a lunch with my Lebanese boyfriend

  • The smoked aubergine pate and the lemonade with rose water were particularly delicious

  • Hiba express is a little gem in central London

  • They make the best hummus around this area

  • I particularly love the hummus with minced lamb that goes well with the bread

  • I think you will love Hiba Express (Holborn) if you are a vegetarian

  • The waiters rush the order so you don't get the best experience

  • Hiba express located right next to Holborn station is the perfect place for a nice Lebanese meal after a long day at uni for me (LSE)

  • The food here was of extremely high quality and the waiters were incredibly helpful

  • All of which was so authentic that it reminded of home (Bahrain)

  • Do not be fooled by the exterior kebab shop style appearance the food is far better than your average lamb donner after a boozy Friday night

  • The salads come with fantastically acidic dressings

  • A place whose name to begin with induced me into thinking it is a take away

  • Everything was delicious and the tea that I had later on complimented the entire meal pretty well

  • I must say this is a very good restaurant and serves really good quality of food when compared to the quality served at other restaurants

  • The service was a top notch one and the staff was affable

  • The lam shawarma I had was an absolute delight and was also reasonably priced

  • I expected a fine dining what they did provide was complete opposite

  • The food was good but it was a little salty

  • We happened to cross the place by chance and were handed a menu by the man outside

  • This was the first time I was trying Lebanese food

  • My partner and I shared all our dishes to get the best of each dish and boy

  • I recommend you have their mixed grilled platter as it is over the top perfection

  • Hiba Express (Holborn) was spotless in terms of service and will definitely prove to be impeccable

  • The food was amazing with great tastes and textures

  • They explained me the whole menu as I was quite unsure as to what to order

  • I dined there four times in the week and was never disappointed from my choice

  • Hiba Express (Holborn) is a couple of minutes away from the Holborn station and can be reached easily

  • The service was amazing and since it was late at night the place was not that crowded either

  • The pricing of the menu is very reasonable and pocket friendly so you need not worry about spending a lot of bucks on a main course and a drink

  • I visited Hiba Express (Holborn) with a friend and did not have a good experience here

  • The service was not at all prompt and the waiter got us the wrong order

  • We ordered a couple of dishes and they were delicious and quite appetizing

  • The food here is a bit overpriced though

  • The only lag here is that the it takes almost an hour for the restaurant to prepare the meal and serve it

  • The interiors are neat and clean

  • We had sausage dish and it was perfectly prepared

  • The food was a delight and it was also in a reasonable price range

  • It is definitely a good option for lunch and I am quite sure you won't be disappointed with the choice of having your meal at this restaurant

  • I love Lebanese cuisine and went with high expectations to the restaurant

  • The ingredients were all fresh and the combination was savory

  • I was the only person at this restaurant for about twenty minute so i was quite apprehensive as to what i would get

  • Hiba Express (Holborn) is a wonderful one

  • The hygiene level maintained was quite good

  • I had hummus which was quite delicious and also tried a variety of other dishes which were equally good as well

  • The portions served were quite large and the dÃ

  • This pretty little destination is good for a quick bite when you are in a hurry

  • I ordered lamb shawarma wrap with chips and drink

  • The food was very well prepared and was well seasoned

  • The staff is friendly and also helps in making menu selections if you are not familiar with the kind of food served

  • I recently tried this Arabic place and was completely impressed with it

  • The food was excellent with it's wonderful flavours and was cooked to perfection

  • The service is extraordinarily efficient with the staff being quite warm

  • The quantity is amazing as well and it is pretty reasonable also

  • The portions are generous and well worth the price

  • Even though we visited on last Friday evening before Christmas we never felt that we were being rushed

  • You can visit the the supermarket opposite whilst your food order is being prepared

  • Small unassuming place which is quite popular amongst office goers during lunch with some superb food

  • Can be difficult to find a table and the service is a bit slow as they have less staff but the food more than makes up for it

  • So I would give Hiba Express (Holborn) a 4 star but the Khanafah was to die for and worth the long long wait

  • The staff seems to always be stretched thin and the place is pretty pink

  • Recommend the Khanafah (order it half way through your meal and make sure you are not in a rush)

  • Together with falafels are my favourite starters

  • The mixed grill was done very well

  • The chicken was moist and succulent

  • The lamb cubes were surprisingly good

  • These ones however were pretty good

  • At the end of the day I liked it and it was very cheap

  • Ordered the mixed shawarma which was a sizeable portion and tasted good

  • The service was a bit haphazard and not as friendly as one would like

  • The Baklava here is a MUST HAVE

  • We ordered chicken and lamb shawarma wraps (regular sized) and they were quite filling

  • First the fries were soggy and oily and disgusting

  • Warak enab and hommous were disgusting

  • Getting the Lebanese taste to London is quite hard

  • They tried their best at doing so

  • The veggie options are satisfying grilled halloumi

  • He said there is an extra charge for that

  • Left to only find out I was given the standard 3 skewer mix grill

  • Also taste of tabouleh is nothing of neither Lebanese nor Palestinian or any where near by levant

  • The chefs were highly attentive and provided my table with complimentary hummus

  • As she did not come back to our table to check if everything was okay or if we needed anything after the food had arrived
