Halepi (Bayswater)

• Halepi is a favourite with locals as it's in a residential part of west London and off the main road so the tourists tend to miss it
• The kleftiko is to die for and the staff are always so warm and welcoming
• Halepi is a very busy Greek restaurant mostly in the evenings and it is located in Bayswater area in Notting Hill
• It is advised that you book a reservation in advance if you are to avoid waiting for a space in the taverna
• Then the Poisson Halepi which is sliced veal garnished with white wine and touches of asparagus with potatoes
• The restaurant is well appointed and has got a relaxing atmosphere
• Amazing service great ambience inside the restaurant really transports you to Greece and the quality of the meat is divine really feel like you're eating in Greece
• Beetroot and mastello cheese are worth a try
• Everything was so good the food
• The desserts and also the mint tea it was absolutely divine
• The gentleman who received us at the door was generous enough not to turn us away
• The Dolmas are a must try
• The Baby lamb casserole is a must try too
• Culminating with 4 or 5 humongous trays with char grilled meat
• A Cypriot lager that is quite enjoyable
• We ate like kings until we are fully fed and then beyond that until almost sickness
• While there are vegetarian options
• This is the best cooked lamb I&rsquo
• Ve eaten in european countries and also all staff is very helpful
