  • Hellish tourist trap that is the Southbank

  • Little did we know the restaurant was actually part of the theatre

  • Veggie Sloppy Joe was a massive let down

  • The burger was decent and if you ever find yourself here it's definitely the meal to get

  • Flavoursome food with good choice of artisan beers

  • A few of the waitresses were lovely and clearly overworked

  • The food was not how it was described in the menu

  • We order salmon with potato Rosti only to be given a salmon and a walkers chisp

  • Also beetroot salad was a plain salad and the sauces on the menu didn't come with the dish we had to remind them what the menu said a few times

  • Our main courses came and I was informed there was some problem and I basically wouldn't get my meal for another 10 mins

  • They didn't charge us for this meal but when they knew it was going to be delayed they should have held all dishes back

  • Food quality was ok in the end

  • The menu looked fresh and tasty and there was a good selection of drinks

  • I had the burger with chips and I was very happy with it

  • While they only have one option and it is pretty simple without any fancy extras

  • The patty was juicy and slightly n the salty side like I like it and the bun was very fresh and soft

  • My colleagues also tried the squid and the chicken and they all said that they were glad I picked The Green Room (South Bank) because their food was great

  • The raspberry wheat beer that I also tried was a bit too sweet but it was an interesting flavour and after I got used to it I liked it

  • There is also a beer garden outside for when the weather is hot and they sometimes put deckchairs on the grass so you can drink comfortably

  • Wood and glass space with a bright green neon sign reading &lsquo

  • I thought of checking if they were dog friendly

  • Been back a few times already and I feel the Green Room are worthy of a blog post because their food is as good as their attitude towards dogs

  • The Green Room has a classy diner feel to it and is unsurprisingly popular with theatre goers
