Gourmet Pizza (South Bank)

• Gourmet Pizza boasts a prime location on the Thames and utilises this with a great range of indoor and outdoor seating
• As it was still fairly early the restaurant was half full and food came out quite fast
• I think the dough could be better but the topping is quite nice
• The service is quite friendly as well and a good place to grab affordable dinner around this quiet area in the evening
• 21.95 per person with a glass of prosecco which looks like pretty good deal
• Luckily it is just a stroll away from the national theatre

• We had a really nice chat with her and the service was the right kind of speed (not so quick you judge them and question their cooking methods
• Replaced his cheese with artichokes and they managed to still make his pizza look appetising
• Yet well done food was the perfect way to end the evening
• A stroll along Southbank is made all the better if it lands you at Gourmet Pizza
• Though our group was seated inside
• My group (of 4) started with a plate of focaccia &
• The focaccia is not really worth getting
• That is what was described in the menu
• The pizzas were very very good
• My friend and I actually split a salad and a pizza and we were pleased to see that the restaurant actually divided it for us
• Truffle pizza with a bechamel sauce base was actually amazing
• Fresh salads and good wine with a lovely view of the Thames traffic from their mezzanine perch tables
