  • I went to this restaurant while I was in London a couple of weeks ago twice for brunch

  • Starting from traditional Sunday roast to Indian cuisine with chicken curry and rice along with chutney

  • It's part of the inexpensive Wetherspoons chain where you should always have a look underfoot at the garish custom designed wall to wall carpet that is unique to each pub

  • We have tried the chicken tenders in two different branches and they are reliably good

  • Tender and succulent and crisp with no greasiness which attests that they know how to deep fry here

  • Ciabatta with garlic butter was a spongy factory bread

  • It did come drenched with garlic butter if you are in the mood for that kind of thing

  • So the total order was half a cob

  • I suspect this is corn from the deep freeze section that has been grilled for cosmetic purposes but reheated in the microwave
