Gail's Bakery (Notting Hill)

• The staff were lovely and the displays of baked goods were so inviting
• My personal favourite from there is the sausage roll
• Most of the coffee shops either have the Kenya kind of beans which are too bitter or serve coffee with too much water
• Many choices and the plus is everything is homemade and fresh
• The ambience and general feeling you get is of a small family run bakery
• The hot chocolate is the best I've had in the city
• Ham crossaint is a must have
• Their cappuccino is the best I&rsquo
• My only regret is not being able to take all the cakes home
• What I have tried is their artisan bread
• Moment (long gone are the days of wrestling with thick crusts and scattering crumbs all over the table
• They'll also equip you with a rather large carrier bag to take it home another godsend if you're walking long distances
• Starting with a cinnamon puff and ending with a humongous and mouth watering chicken baguette with almonds
• Good to know that there are well laid out and spacious coffee places around here
• Coconut macaroon was nice to call out specifically
• Gets quite busy on weekend mornings but the food is top notch for a chain
• Also this outlet is not kept very clean
• From the bread machine to the floor it's not cleaned regularly or hygiene level maintained but the food is top notch for a bakery
• Coffee is good although it was served slightly tepid
• Rose Cake was the best cake I've ever eaten in my life
• The only down is that it's quite busy
