Frankie and Benny's (Romford)

• One good thing about having a birthday party in a dine out restaurant is that it eases you of the energy sapping task of having to prepare the food
• B meatballs which is a pasta meal comprising of pork and beef meatballs in stewed tomatoes loaded on spaghetti
• The meatballs were delicious but the tomato sauce tasted bland which made the spaghetti less enjoyable
• Their services were quite fast and their staff&rsquo
• So so good xxxxxxxxxxx it was like being in USA it was that good
• Frankie and Bennys is a well known chain obviously
• I haven't been in many as my experiences are also so poor I generally won't go back
• It is in a convenient location in the brewery by the cinema and in my option that is basically all it has going for it
• Meats and fries are soggy and greasy
• The 1st time I ordered a calzone and it was soo soo tasty
• Definitely recommended and the romford staff was very good although I believe they were lacking in staff numbers as requests took a bit long to sort out
• After 10 minutes the table was still not ready and unfortunately I had to cancel my reservation
• What you have here is a very watered down and diluted offering
• You are putting yourself in a position where you are looking at limited options for good food
• The pluses in this venue is that it is very kid friendly
• The negative is that the food is nothing to set the world on fire
• Bring on franchises and what was once a winning formula dilutes beyond recognition
• That argument is for another day
• The mushroom was smothered with it
• In my opinion it was a case of let me see the Dr Oetker box
• I get how it works for families and children as we witnessed the staff bring a birthday cake with candles to a beaming child
• Not much to say about Frankie and Benny's (Romford) apart from poor disinterested staff serving up sub standard food which is obviously just tasteless fatty reheats
