Everest Inn (Blackheath)

• This was our chosen location to go out with a couple of good friends who had recently developed a love of this food during a trip to India
• When the masses all decide to do so or you can be smug like we were and bag yourself a nice early dinner reservation so you beat the crowds
• This restaurant is a firm favourite of Joanna Lumley's with a hand written plaque from her proudly hung up on the downstairs floor
• Perhaps the only thing that let down the experience was that we seemed to have been allocated the brand new waiter
• Who really struggled with understanding what we were saying and with following our wishes
• The service was friendly as usual
• Naans are usually my test of a good Indian restaurant and I was pleased to say that the garlic naan passed with flying colours garlicky
• There's a reason this is one of my local favourites for food you know is reliable
• A sharp thinking ship is run for sure
• Somehow a dairy rich main was added to our order We asked for that dish to be taken off because we did not want it
• At this point stating we'd love a meal with no dairy or meat please
• A lovely restaurant with a great selection of meat dishes and no vegan mains
• Very happy with the restaurant and would recommend it to people
• Overall very average food and only liked Dal and rest everything like Chicken Tikka etc was nothing special and was edible
• Not impressed with Everest Inn (Blackheath) specially money you pay
