Ekachai (City of London)

• The service is quite fast and good
• Therefore it is a good option if you are looking for a quick lunch during weekdays
• There is great variety in the menu and portions are quite good
• They even have lot of options if you are looking for curries
• I tried the Singapore noodles which were delicious and filling
• This restaurant is in a rush too
• It is surprising they can serve up obviously pre made dishes with such a fresh taste
• Starter of duck spring rolls were filled with sticky
• The pastry wrapping was perhaps a little thick but they did have a good crunch
• Hoisin sauce is always the perfect accompaniment with duck and it didn't let down
• The crabs themselves were actually delicious
• Seafood curry laksa was filled with prawns
• The seafood tasted very fresh and well cooked but the calamari was overdone and chewy
• Cuisine covers South East Asia with the likes of Pad Thai and Char Kuay Teow making my preferred dishes
• I have to say there are not many places that cook Asian food around the area so this is a real gem
• They specialise in south east Asian food with a focus on Thai
• We were surprised how busy it was considering the street looked pretty dark and desolate
• Cocktails are new on the menu so it was only right that we tried them
• We cooled down with fresh and zingy
• Really good with just the right level of heat
• 5.20 came with four skewers not the usual awkward unshareable three
• It looked like we were off to a good start
• It just tasted like a generic curry with no identifiable flavours
• S Roast duck and pork with bak choi was gigantic and easily enough for two to share
• We always write with complete honesty
• Especially having taste the 'originals' and has ingredients such as Tempeh which is not so common to find over here
• The noodles soup with tempeh and tofu was quite good too
