Ed's Easy Diner (Soho)

• I never made up my mind on which one is best between coffee and chocolate
• The Oreo milkshake is my favourite
• I arrived to London hating the fact that it was sunny and cloudless
• Was extremely busy and is quite tiny
• Was really excited for the food as the menu looked so good but the cheesy chips were disappointing and smelt foul (the cheese)
• Also had an Oreo milkshake which was probably the highlight of my day they give you this jug thing which is tall and can really fill you up before the food comes
• The american fast food burger experience was as expected
• Plonked in front of us were small plates
• The lettuce was fresh and crunchy
• The tomato was watery and tasteless
• Just in case it was like a fine wine with a closed nose/palate
• My first thought was it looked like a Tesco value frozen burger
• We'd had the perennial debate with our waiter about the meat being medium
• The usual health and safety reasons were cited blah blah blah
• Anyway my burger did come out slightly pinker than I expected (and really I was just happy it wasn't nuked
• The flavour was american fast food
• The chilli was good and beefy
• While the onion rings were actually pretty good
• Though they were perhaps a little on the overdone side
• They've got two vegetarian burgers on offer and both are great (but choose the Cajun one)
• A pit stop for simple food with familiar flavours and a jukebox soundtrack
• Burgers and shakes are the essentials for any diner and Ed's delivers them all
• Tuck into a side of chilli cheese fries with your favourite ice cream drink
• The interior is decked with a jukebox and all
• Hotdog and all day breakfast joint with a strong Americana feel to it
• They know how to create a '50s atmosphere with a jukebox and retro dressed staff
• It was hard to get a table initially as we were about 10 people but in the end we got seated and enjoyed the burgers
• Ed's Easy Diner is in a great location
• Can be quite inconvenient if you are looking for an intimate meal
• In keeping with the 50s diner vibe
• Food always hits the spot if you are looking for a tasty and indulgent meal and I love the chocolate ice cream milkshakes
• So with two colleagues (one who was being introduced to ed's for the first time) we made another burger journey
• The chicken bacon Blt and the breakfast burgers were explored to their fullest
• Every bite was worth the walk in the rain
• Did not dissapoint and for veggie lovers the Cajun Burger was pretty good
• My top start review is for milkshakes
• Those milkshakes that taste the best when they are shared
• Because it is soooo sweet and the ice cream makes it a whole lot better
• ) ahhhh~ It's a great place to chat with your friend and it had the American diner theme with the juke box full of elvis songs
• Had the pulled pork burger and the cheese burger which were both excellent
• A good place to go for some comfort food when you're in Soho but it is overpriced for what you get
• Macdonalds is just around the corner and you're pretty much served the same thing
• The decor was fun and service was slick and friendly
• S burger of the month was a chance to try a blue cheese and bacon burger using Castello cheese
• Visited late one Friday night with a couple of friends to chow down a burger and milkshake
• Can't say I was particularly impressed with the burger there are outlets that are much better
• The whole diner feel is cool though
• My personal favourite is chocolate and peanut butter shake
• I would say it would be a great place to grab a bite but it is slightly pricey
• The Bailies Milkshake is blissfully filling while the brioche bun chilli dog could do better
• The sides are great in flavour too and service is great great waitress over the weekdays
• S easy diner in London in September when we were on vacation
• I ordered the original burger with a strawberry milkshake
• The burger was juicy and delicious
• Their food presentation was very appealing
• The burger was rich in ingredients and served with side salad
• They pour it in a glass but you can always add some more in a reserve stainless cup filled with your extra milkshake on the side
• I believe they were understaffed as we waited a while for our food
• The value of money was fair and worth what they serve you
• You have to try it out whenever you are around the corner
• The venue is tiny so best for takeway but there's a few bar seats for a quick bite
