Eastern Eye - Brick Lane (Spitalfields)

• The smell of the food emanating from the kitchen was enough ambiance for me
• I ordered the jalfrezi chicken with naan and some rice
• The portion of rice was a bit on the stingy side
• The jalfrezi was hot and tasty with loads of fresh chilies and onion and spices
• ) The naan was pretty standard airy yet dense
• I can't say I would definitely return (what with all the many options)
• Was walking down brick lane on a hot Thursday evening with my family the window was all open on the sides and looked very appealing it also helped the fact the restaurant was nearly full
• Our dishes were all made to measure and one of us had the house special which was lamb tikka balti overall it was a very pleasant experience and we cannot wait to go there again
• 3 of us so we were not cramped
• Only downside is their drinks menu
