• Fortunately there is also a side entrance that takes you directly to the restaurant
• I found there were more negatives than positives here
• The Salsa and Relishes provided with some of the dishes were really OTT
• The Salsa I had with my Thai Chicken cakes (Chicken Rissoles) for example consisted of a small bowl containing huge chunks of tomatoes with red onion and chilli I could not eat it
• One of my companions had the burger which was nicely cooked
• The Smoked Haddock was cooked ok as well
• Basically this was a missed opportunity
• Went for Sunday lunch with the girlfriend
• The soup arrived with the bread and butter on a nice wooden board
• Liked that it was thick and hearty
• The ringing of the bell at the pass was relentless and incredibly annoying
• The bees itself was very nice and it just melted
• Buried under the two slices of beef was the cabbage
• The gigantic yorkshire pudding was sitting on top and the goose fat roasted potatoes were there too
• Everything was swimming in the gravy
• The beef was lovely and the yorkshire pud was really good
• The pub itself looks nice and posh from the outside and the inside is not that bad
• If your with friends then this is a good place to meet and the fact it has outside space is a bonus
• Any bar and pub in Wimbledon village is a delight to spend a little time in while the match plays on the tv screen
• It is very well equipped for large groups of people and by that I mean birthday all corporate parties so you could easily have sections with rooms of 25 or more
• We did not get to eat here as we were just catching up but my take on the pub is that it is very good at what we were doing in that moment
• If you want to meet up for drinks and catch up with people then there&rsquo
• S plenty of space to do that and the service was quick plus the drinks are reasonably priced given that your sat in Wimbledon
