Dip & Flip (Battersea)

• The food is accessorised with a little Styrofoam bowl of gravy
• The whole kaboodle is presented on a metal tray lined with Dip &
• Streaky bacon are generously piled on top of a custom made american burger cheese
• The cheese is a nod to The Ship
• Also worked in under the bun are ketchup and French's mustard
• Spread on the bottom bun is a thin layer of mayonnaise mixed with pickle juice which adds a careful dose of acidity to the whole burger
• Kicks out the bacon and replaces it with a layer of gravy dipped roast beef
• The depth of flavour is mouthwatering
• They coated with chicken salt* which is a blend of a load of different spices

• A cheeseburger with extra slices of roast beef that have already been dipped in gravy
• Both of these also come with a pot of extra gravy on the side
• We also ordered some Poutine which hails from Quebec chips topped with gravy and cheese curds
• Flip Burger is almost impossible to dip
• It doesn't need it anyway the beef and the patty are both high quality
• The Lamb Sub was a better shape for dipping
• The poutine was also a great success
• The chips were seasoned with chicken salt
• We both went for the Sambrooke's Pale Ale (who are just up the road
• Came with teeny little spoons which we were very taken with
• So they have made a smart choice bringing in these quirky little desserts with the added bonus of supporting a small Battersea business at the same time
• We were in constant contact with the manager who was very friendly and chatty
• An American invention (of course) which plays on the idea of serving you a hot sandwich/bun filled with an arrays of items classically being beef slices and cheese
• You're then faced with the even tougher choice of how much you want it 'dipped'
• Everything is also very competitively priced and most of it
• Toasted on the inside and filled with tender and juicy full flavoured beef slices
• Cheesy fries were pretty standard

• Friday night was burger night and I has been hoping to get to Dip and Flip for quite some time
• B and I took the 40 minutes journey out to Battersea and were lucky enough at 7pm to get a table right away
• I think this is better than Shake Shack"
• It kinda drags on in the flavour department and by the end I was eating to eat
• Even better for me is B didn't like the ale so I got it all
• Flip in Battersea is simply outstanding
• I am already calling it the best burger in London
• At least the best in battersea
• They give you always some gravy with your burguers
